We had all finished our meals and returned back to our respective domains. Naturally the portal that me and Dino went through and the portal that Guy, Misery and Raine went through connected to the same spatial pathway.
We had found ourselves walking side by side, I didn't bother making the portal to our respective locations yet because there was something I wanted to talk about.
Simon: "Guy, you wanna know the real reason I didn't want to join Walpurgis?"
Guy: " Tell me."
Simon: "Isn't the answer simple? I refuse to play a piece in this chess game between you and Rudra."

Guys smile revealed slight disappointment, "Well that's a shame, I was hoping to atleast use your political influence and surveillance tech to do something."
Simon: "That's within fair limits but also the extent of what you're allowed to do."
Guy: "So you really won't help me in this personal crusade of mine."
Simon knew that this could go on forever so he just decided to rip the band aid off, "Ok, since this world prioritises survival of the fittest, so let me put this in a way you'll understand.
If you want something from me then all you have to do is ask; if I say no then you take that as your final answer; if you try to exploit, manipulate or take advantage of me then I'll end out relationship and your life. And that is a promise."
Everyone gasped at the very clear threat being made… and to Guy Crimson nonetheless.
Misery and Raine wanted to attack me out of loyalty and respect for their lord but Guy simply stopped them and turned back to Simon, " I understand."
" You do?"
" Using your eyes and influence is enough for me at the moment, and I do not intend to go against you for the sake of simply gaining more power." Guy said satisfied.
" Good to hear." I summoned three doorways, one connecting to the frost palace, the other connected to Dino's room and the last connected to my throne, where I was watching the banquet.

" Lord Guy, are you sure that we shouldn't demand control over Simon's power and forces?" Misery asked.
Guy looked at her with a look of surprise, "Is that really something you want say out loud Misery, especially while we are under his sky?"
Misery: "Do you believe we can't achieve that?"
Guy: " Let me put this into perspective for you Misery. If I'm correct, there were only two beings in existence who could truly overpower Simon and I am not one of those two.
That is not evens mentioning that in the event of an attack, Velzard would definitely pick Simon's side and not to mention the millions of beings under him and his demon lord level lords. Whether you were joking or not Misery, I can assure you that this is not a fight we can win."
Misery just smiled, "I understand Lord Guy."
"Why are you smiling?" Both Guy and Raine was confused. They couldn't comprehend Misery smiling… ever.
"I just think that the care you have for Simon is so immense that it's turning you human." Misery said playfully then went back to her usual stoic demeanor.
Guy had made a wary smile. It was true that he was affected by Elysia far more then most individuals and he didn't mind being close to Simon but he was afraid that this new personality would make him weak.
He had evens tried going to Nyx for a check up but she had just called him a paranoid baby and let him on his way.
'What has happened to me?' Guy grew a headache when he calmed himself down, 'No I shouldn't, provoking him is a death wish. Evens as a demon, I wouldn't survive him.'
Then Guy realized what was really going on with Simon at the moment, 'Jeez, I hope Velzard doesn't kill him.'

I walked through the portal back to my throne and found a very cold looking Velzard sitting there. Her expression was icy to say the least, she looked like she would bite my head off.
"Zarry, did you enjoy watching the Walpurgis?" I asked her warily.
She didn't answer my question and just sat there looking at me for a couple seconds, "Would you mind explaining to me your relationship with demon lord Luminous Valentine."
Velzard's voice was bitingly cold… literally, the more she spoke the more the area around us began to freeze.
"We…we're just friends. That's all." I said taking slow steps back before the frost could touch me.
Velzard stood up and walked forward towards me. Each step radiated a frostbite that could kill thousands of humans. Technically, this wasn't that much of a threat to me but Velzard herself gave a bone chilling killing intent.
When she got up in my face, she pinned me against a wall and stared directly into my eyes. Her eyes glowed like golden globes, seeing through every weakness of her prey.
"That kinda relationship between friends seems a bit… dangerous. Why don't you tell me how many friends you have." Velzard's voice was cold as ice.
So cold that it sent a shiver down my spine, " C'mon Velzard, it's not like that. She truly is just a friend."
"What did she mean when she said that she wants you to taste her food?"
"It's just that. When I stayed with Luminous for a time, she wanted me to teach her how to cook."
"You stayed with Luminous?" Velzard asked with a calming stillness but ferocity.
Fuck… that was a stupid thing to say. Might as well be honest now.
"Tell me. Did you two sleep together?"
" If you mean figuratively as in sex then no. If you mean literally then yes."
Velzard went quiet as she was analysing parts of my face and then…
" HAAAH!" I saw as Velzard's fist flew towards me.
I closed my eyes waiting for her wrath.
I heard the sound of stone being smashed apart. I opened my eyes and found her fist ingraved in the wall beside my head. Velzard held her head down as she took deep breaths.
She looked up, pegged my hands against the wall and stuck her tongue into my throat.
We stood there for a minute before Velzard let go. She came up to my ear and whispered, " Simon." She pressed down on the frostbite on my shoulder, " Next time you flirt with a girl, just remember who you belong to. Is that understood?"
I was still stunned and furiously blushing. When I was taking too long to answer, Velzard had bit down on my ear causing me to flinch and shiver violently, "Y-yes you're un-understood!"
Velzard stepped back and saw my downcast face that was blushing and breathing heavily. She lifted my chin up with her finger to relish in my defenseless self, "Now that's a good boy."
Velzard walked out of the room leaving me to my chaotic thoughts. I immediately slumped down to the ground as I felt all strength within my legs disappear.
I held my head as I smiled and chuckled to myself, "God damn Zarry. That was just unfair of you to play like that."
Worst part of it all, it totally turned me on.
