"Dino, please explain yourself before a kick you out of the dimension and leave you stranded in space." I explain with visible animosity.
My bloodlust began seeping out of my body like a thick smog that caused everyone to begin sweating. They weren't just afraid of my malice but because the space around us began reacting to that malice.
Space began cracking and the hurricane of fog around us began to mold into large sharp appendages, like teeth inside the maw of the beast, ready to grind up any meat that it preys on.
Despite the fear emanating from his colleagues and the lingering threat that will completely devour him, Dino remained unfazed. He stood up and stepped forward towards me, when he got Infront of me, he kneeled down.
My malice disappeared and the foggy appendages receeded. I just looked down at the kneeling angel with a blanket expression. Then I looked at Guy who had a knowing smile.
Simon: "This was your doing, wasn't it?"
"I don't think I like your accusing tone young man." But Guy's joking tone didn't reach me, so he decided to explain, "Although we did have a talk about this. This was completely Dino's decision… and I approved it."
My eyes narrowed as I sensed something in his wording that caught my attention, and I had gotten an awful premonition, "If you guys had a conversation about this and this was Dino's decision? Then clearly there was something that you wanted from Dino… right?"
Guy: "Very astute Simon. You see, Dino isn't just erasing his seat, his relinquishing it to you as a new demon lord."
"…No."
"Yes."
" No."
" You don't have a choice."
I just stared at Guy for a couple seconds and then, as if acting on impulse, I poured the glass of wine I had directly onto Guy's head.
There was a collective gasp as everyone was waiting for what his reaction will be, but Misery simply stepped forward and handed him a cloth.
Guy wiped his face with the cloth with a calm and patient expression, "Sorry but purposely insulting me and sullying my appearance won't change my decision."
Simon: " Oh god damnit! Why!?"
Guy: " Why don't you want to become a demon lord? It's not so bad."
Simon: " I just don't see any benefit to it."
Guy: " You get to way in on our meetings here."
Simon: " I feel like I do that already. And I would rather die then become as bored as the people on this council." I immediately realized that I had said that out loud and turned to the room, "… no offense."
"Simon, I realize that you think that we are extremely bored. You've probably done more in the last hundred years then we've all done in the last couple thousand.
But you have influence that extends to majority of the world, you have helped progress the world without causing instability… to a certain extent and you have more sway in the council then most demon lords.
You're basically already a demon lord, all I'm doing is making your position official."
Hearing Guy's extensive explanation, evens the other demon lords at the meeting couldn't refute and evens seemed a bit expectant of me joining.
Rimuru: " Quite true. I went to the west and people truly see you as a god. Evens nations with their own well established religions revere you more then the god they were born to have faith in."
Luminous: " Your reputation has caused an uprise of rebellious citizens that has formed a tech cult. The reason I haven't dealt with them is because they have actually been helping advance the empire's technology alongside Andromeda."
Seeing these two make my case better, I couldn't help but feel a sense of betrayal, "You traitors."
"C'mon Simon, it won't be that bad." Rimuru cooed me.
"It won't be that bad. I'm not asking you as a demon lord but as a friend." Guy tried, and failed, to make puppy doll eyes to force me.
I knew I was fighting a losing battle, evens if I refused now, Guy would just beg me constantly afterwards or just threaten me to do it, " Fine then, I'll take my seat as one of the demon lords."
I turned away from Guy and turned towards Dino, " Get up."
Dino obediently stood up from his kneeling position, " You know Dino, I'm not the one you think I am."
"I know, that's not why I'm made this choice. I still have suspicions about your identity but whether you are that individual or not, my observations have shown me that you have the potential to surpass that person far beyond what either of us could imagine. That is why I have chosen to follow you."
Hearing Dino's words made me almost want to cry, " You do know that if you continue following me, you will continuously be abused and worked to death by Nyx, right?"
"Yeah I know. I've gotten quite used to it. I actually came here to catch up on sleep."
Hearing Dino's resolute tone, I took a deep breath in and out, "Fine then."
I walked over and took my place in Dino's seat as he walked over to the gate behind me as my attendant.
Well everyone was happy about the conclusions brought about by this Walpurgis but Rimuru brought up something that I was waiting for, " So does that mean that the ten great demon lords are now the eight great demon lords?"

This had caused everyone in the room to become tense and disgruntled, " Are you… serious?" Dagruel said in a disgruntled voice.
" Why don't we have Rimuru name it? Rimuru is great at naming." Veldora said enthusiastically.
Suddenly everyone's ears perked up and Guy looked at Rimuru with interest, " Well that seems interesting."
" No, make Simon name us."
" I refuse." I said to Rimuru calmly, but through thought communication, 'Don't worry, I'll help you.'
"Ok then, I'll name us." Rimuru said which caused everyone to sigh in relief as they didn't feel like going through that previous hell of trying to figure out a name.
Rimuru began contemplating a name when he had an impulse sent deliberately through his body. He followed that instinct and looked up at the dome around them with coloured glass.
It seemed as if Rimuru's gaze was purposely drawn to a singular spot on the glass artwork, the eight stars that when connected forms an octogram, 'You cheeky god.'
Rimuru then looked down and spoke, "What about the Eight-star demon lords or Octogram for short?"
The room went silent but then everyone applauded with contented faces.
"Then from here on we shall be Octogram."
That's when Raine began speaking us off.
"And that concludes Walpurgis.
