Mutant Levels
Mutant abilities are diverse, and there's a significant disparity in strength between different ability users.
The X-Gene within Mutants is the result of experiments conducted by the ancient Celestial.
The X-Gene lies dormant within humans, holding infinite possibilities, which leads to the diversity of abilities. Because of factors like innate constitution, personality, living environment, and subsequent development, the awakened superpowers vary greatly from person to person.
In the Marvel setting, Mutants can generally be divided into five tiers.
The first tier is the Delta Class: Mutants at this level are those whose evolution has failed. Approximately over fifty percent of Mutants are in this stage. They possess significant flaws, weakness, and superpowers with strong side effects.
The second tier is the Gamma Class: They possess superpowers that surpass ordinary people, but they have serious defects that hinder their lives. Thirty percent of Mutants fall into this category. These kinds of Mutants usually cannot control their abilities, or their bodies undergo mutations, appearing different from ordinary people, and they cannot eliminate these changes at will.
The third tier is the Beta Class: Mutants in this stage have powerful superpowers with minor flaws, but they cannot freely control their abilities. Approximately fifteen percent of Mutants are Beta Class.
The fourth tier is the Alpha Class: They possess extremely powerful superpowers without significant flaws. Only less than five percent of Mutants are Alpha Class.
Omega Class is the fifth tier: This is the most powerful Mutant level, capable of controlling matter and energy, possessing infinite potential, and even immortality. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to call them gods on Earth!
All Omega Class Mutants are also Alpha Class, but not all Alpha Class can reach Omega Class; it only happens in one out of ten thousand cases.
Level is just a reference. When abilities are countered, lower-level Mutants can also kill higher-level Mutants.
For example, Charles, whose Telepathy can pry into others' thoughts and control their actions. At his strongest, amplified by a Psychic Amplifier, he could even use his mental power to kill all humans on Earth.
But Charles himself is kind and wouldn't kill.
However, all it takes is a helmet that can block Telepathy, a pistol, and enough ruthlessness. Even an ordinary person could kill Charles if they found the opportunity.
Erik is the same now. His abilities haven't been fully developed and are still between Gamma Class and Beta Class. As long as there's no metal around, a plastic pistol, a pure wooden bow and arrow, or strong hand-to-hand combat skills, like Ip Man, one could kill Erik with their bare hands.
A single ability, no matter how powerful, is easy to target.
Only diverse abilities can compensate for each other's weaknesses.
Unfortunately, the number of Mutants is already small, and Mutants with multiple abilities are even rarer.
Therefore, it's very important for Mutants with different abilities to work together. Only then will they not be easily broken by those with ulterior motives.
Charles currently doesn't have time to ponder these issues. His abilities are being interfered with by the White Queen, and their [Telepathy] is canceling each other out, creating a stalemate where neither can gain the upper hand.

Charles felt somewhat dejected, yet also excited.
Because, from childhood until now, besides Raven and his long-separated younger brother, this was the first time he'd encountered other Mutants.
While the White Queen and Charles were locked in a standoff, Jetstream Genos suddenly attacked.
He conjured two rapidly spinning tornadoes in his hands. Upon release, the two tornadoes grew in size, easily flipping the three speedboats that were closing in.
"Oh my god!"
Seeing the formidable power of the Mutant on the opposite side, Charles wisely retreated back into the cabin to take shelter.
He was a professor, after all. Fighting wasn't his forte.
At the same time, Erik, knocked into the water by the White Queen, surfaced. He then activated his ability to control the cruise ship's anchor to attack.
The heavy anchor, along with its thick iron chain, flew up under Erik's control, resembling a black giant python as it smashed towards Sebastian Shaw.
Sebastian Shaw didn't choose to meet the attack head-on, instead retreating into the cabin with Emma and Jetstream.
Erik had gone berserk, and anyone who dared to stand in the way of his vengeance would die!
The heavy anchor instantly pierced through the cruise ship, then circled around, pulling in another direction. The chain behind the anchor contracted rapidly, almost instantly shearing off the top of the cruise ship.
"Incredible!"
The soldiers on the patrol ship were dumbfounded as they witnessed this scene.
Sebastian Shaw, Jetstream Genos, and Emma, after dodging a round of attacks, escaped from the cruise ship to the nuclear submarine below, pulling off a perfect escape underwater.
Erik, who possessed the ability to control magnetic fields, could clearly sense the presence of metal around him. The moment the nuclear submarine started, it caught his attention.
Blinded by hatred, Erik didn't think much. He immediately used his ability, wanting to control the underwater nuclear submarine, as if he wouldn't give up until he killed Sebastian Shaw.
Unfortunately, Erik's abilities were limited now, and he was in the water, with nowhere to exert force. Facing a nuclear-powered submarine, he was struggling.
In the end, he couldn't hold onto the nuclear submarine, and instead, he was dragged into the water.
Actually, Erik was blinded by rage and didn't think things through.
If it were Han Shaoqing, even if he couldn't stop the entire nuclear submarine, wouldn't he at least remove some important parts?
If that didn't work, he could just fix a point and tear off a piece of the submarine's metal plating. He didn't believe a nuclear submarine taking on water could go far.

Charles immediately jumped into the sea and desperately pulled at Erik.
The two future leaders of the Mutants embraced in the sea, full of passion. It was a pity that Han Shaoqing was in England and couldn't witness this historical moment.
Finally, Charles exhausted a great deal of effort and, with the help of his Telepathy, managed to pull Erik, stubborn as an ox, out of the water.
At the same time, the two formed a bond that would last a lifetime!
Because they shared a common goal, Erik and Charles formed an alliance.
In order to deal with Sebastian Shaw and the Mutant team he led, Charles came up with the idea of forming a Mutant team.
In a nutshell, if others have it, we must have it too.
Later, through Moira's matchmaking, Charles, Raven, and Erik met Hank McCoy at the CIA.
Hank McCoy was also a Mutant, but his abilities were mainly reflected in his physical and brain development. He was a highly learned scientist with extraordinary physical strength. His shortcoming was that he had a pair of feet that looked like oversized hands.
The few of them hit it off, and after a period of research, Hank created a device that enhanced the Psychic Amplifier.
Through this device, Charles' Telepathy can be amplified, expanding his range of detection. While it can't cover the entire globe yet, it's more than enough to encompass a nation.
With the assistance of this Psychic Amplifier, Charles and Erik began searching the country for allies.
