Han Shaoqing, having arranged Artoria's documents, was watching an 18-inch black and white television on the sofa.
The manor originally belonged to the vampire Reyn Simmons. After Reyn died, Han Shaoqing and Artoria took it over.
Having power truly allowed one to do as they pleased. Occupying property wasn't difficult. Reyn, being a vampire, often stayed hidden during the day and changed his identity, making many things inconvenient.
The everyday affairs were generally handled by a few members of the Haxue Clan (Blood-Serving Clan).
The so-called Haxue Clan were originally human, but to gain eternal life, they willingly became the lackeys of vampires, in turn harming their human brethren.
They often secretly purchased fresh blood, or captured humans for their masters to feed on, hoping to be turned into vampires one day.

There was only a butler and two servants left. Han Shaoqing used the blue hand of the Shuangquan Hand to alter their memories, turning them into puppets.
Afterward, the butler took charge, modifying Reyn's will and bribing a well-known lawyer. The whole process was completed smoothly.
Artoria's identity was confirmed, and she officially became the owner of the manor.
Compared to the lazy Han Shaoqing, Artoria was very disciplined, exercising regularly every day.
Han Shaoqing couldn't be called lazy, but he was definitely not diligent. His strength was basically obtained through check-ins.
This kind of effortless power was very unfair to those who worked hard.

Ever since he met Namor, Han Shaoqing had a premonition that the X-Men plot would appear.
Because Namor was the first mutant to appear in Marvel.
Having the first one, naturally there would be others.
For Han Shaoqing, these mutants were all good targets for "checking in".
A chance to quickly increase his strength was naturally not to be missed.
He had the butler order two plane tickets.
That afternoon, Han Shaoqing and Artoria set off, taking a plane to New York.
After flying for about ten hours, the plane arrived in New York late at night.
After checking into a hotel and resting for a night, early the next morning, Han Shaoqing prepared to take Artoria to "check in" at the New York Sanctum first, but he sensed a powerful [Mind Reading/Telepathy] ability.

For example, Han Shaoqing and Namor's Mind Reading mainly targeted marine life.
Charles and Emma's Mind Reading mainly controlled humans. They could also control animals, but they couldn't know what animals were thinking.
When Mind Readers met, they generally couldn't pry into each other's thoughts; their psychic powers differed greatly.
Charles's psychic power was considered the best on Earth, but he still couldn't perceive Han Shaoqing's true thoughts unless Han Shaoqing opened his mind and didn't interfere.
But that wasn't possible.
Charles was a good person, that was true, but some things were best kept secret. Han Shaoqing had quite a few secrets, and didn't like sharing them.
"I'm Han Shaoqing. You can also call me Sea King. It's a pleasure to meet you, Professor Charles."
Standing on the street, Han Shaoqing began communicating with Charles telepathically, while also emphasizing his identity as "Sea King."
"So you're the Sea King who saved the Titanic. I've heard about your deeds. It's truly wonderful to meet you here. We need your help."
Back when the Titanic was attacked, its incident was covered up by the combined efforts of the British and American high command due to the appearance of Godzilla, and a "gag order" was issued.
But for Charles, who possessed Mind Reading/Telepathy, those secrets that the agents kept so tight-lipped weren't secrets at all.
Charles had spent some time in the CIA, during which he "accidentally" learned the truth about the Titanic.
Charles had heard of the Sea King, who was able to coexist peacefully with the Titan Godzilla. He hadn't expected to meet him so soon.
Now they were forming a mutant team to fight the Hellfire Club. If they could invite the "Sea King" to join, their chances of success would greatly increase.
Han Shaoqing could roughly guess Charles's thoughts, but he still asked knowingly, "Have you encountered any trouble?"
"Yes, there is an extreme terrorist named Sebastian Shaw. He wants to provoke a war between the United States and the Soviet Union. If we don't stop him, it could very well trigger World War III!"

In the original story, the X-Men ultimately defeated Sebastian Shaw, preventing war, but there were many coincidences involved.
Now that he was in this world, Han Shaoqing didn't dare to be certain that things would unfold exactly as they did in the original story.
It's better to be safe than sorry.
Once the Soviet Union and the United States went to war, nuclear missiles would fly everywhere. If he did nothing, he might be sitting at home when a missile came crashing down from the sky!
Han Shaoqing didn't think he could currently withstand a nuclear strike.
Whether considering his own safety or from the perspective of human righteousness, intervening was the most prudent choice.
Moreover, participating in X-Men: First Class would allow him to check in, so why not?
After a conversation with Charles, Han Shaoqing arranged to meet at 177A Bleecker Street, Manhattan.
