The Green Goblin's eyes flickered with surprise as Chen Ye suddenly appeared before him.
His original plan was to kill Peter and Harry with the bomb, but the addition of another person made little difference. After all, whether he killed two or three, his goal remained the same.

Yet, Chen Ye didn't respond.
A hint of amusement danced in his eyes as he watched Peter cling tightly to Harry.
*These two are truly soulmates,* Chen Ye thought. *No wonder Peter disfigured Harry's face in the movies.*
Despite this, Harry remained steadfastly loyal, helping him resolve the crisis.
Peter noticed Chen Ye's expression and felt a twinge of embarrassment. He realized he might have been too presumptuous. After all, Chen Ye's companions all possessed superpowers; he should have expected Chen Ye himself to be similarly capable.
He never imagined Chen Ye was inwardly teasing them.
Harry's eyes were filled with both envy and resentment as he looked at Chen Ye. Though he didn't know him, he could sense the powerful aura radiating from him.
Harry began to question himself: Why didn't he have superpowers? Why couldn't he possess the power to change his fate like Peter?
He yearned for superpowers—to escape the Green Goblin's torment and prevent Peter from getting hurt because of him.
He imagined that if he had superpowers, he might be able to change his own fate, perhaps even save his father and prevent him from falling before his eyes.
At this thought, Harry felt a sharp pain in his chest.
He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and tried to calm his emotions.
He knew that reality was cruel, that he couldn't change the past, but that didn't mean he should give up on the future.
Chen Ye watched them embrace for a long time, unable to resist pointing at them and asking, "How much longer are you two going to hug?"
Peter and Harry were startled by his words, as if waking from a dream, and realized they were still clinging to each other.
Embarrassment flooded their faces, and after exchanging a glance, as if they'd simultaneously remembered something, they quickly separated.
Chen Ye watched them, a faint smile playing on his lips, and said nothing more.
He waved his hand, and an invisible magnetic force emanated from his palm, gently pushing aside the steel wall protecting them.
Watching Chen Ye manipulate the steel so effortlessly, Peter and Harry both looked at him with envy. Peter, in particular, suddenly felt disdain for his own spider abilities, thinking that compared to Chen Ye's powers, his were practically garbage.
When Chen Ye retracted the steel wall, he was met with a scene of devastation: rubble littered the ground, and the Green Goblin lay motionless, his condition unknown.
Instead of approaching, Chen Ye used magnetism to slowly lift the Green Goblin into the air, allowing him to get a clear view of his condition. Gazing at the critically injured villain, Chen Ye asked calmly, "I heard you had other gifts prepared for Peter. Care to tell me what they are?"
Despite his severe injuries, the Green Goblin managed to pull out a twisted smile and rasp, "Of course, something fun. You'll see it soon enough."
Peter's reaction was sudden and frantic, a flicker of panic crossing his eyes. "Did you capture Mary too?"
His words carried a deep worry, clearly showing his extreme anxiety for Mary's safety. Peter's fears were not unfounded.
He recalled everything that had happened today. Harry, bound and unable to text, was likely in a similar situation. After all, Mary wasn't the type to text him casually.
Faced with Peter's question, the severely injured Green Goblin didn't answer directly. Instead, he let out a chilling, raspy laugh.
The laughter was filled with mockery and derision, as if mocking their ignorance and helplessness.
Though the Green Goblin didn't answer directly, Peter and Harry read the answer in his smile and laughter.
Their hearts sank, and fear and worry spread through their minds.
Chen Ye didn't let the Green Goblin off the hook. He continued to press, "Do you know anyone else who's come from a parallel universe like you?"
His tone was filled with vigilance and seriousness.
The Green Goblin froze at the question, then burst into laughter again.
This time, the laughter was more frantic and unrestrained.
Seeing that the Green Goblin had no intention of answering, Chen Ye didn't press further. With a casual squeeze, the Green Goblin's life silently vanished in his hand.
Just before dying, his original personality seemed to regain control.
He struggled to lift his head and slowly said to Harry, "Child... I'm sorry."
The words were filled with guilt and regret, as if his final farewell to this world.
Peter and Harry watched the Green Goblin's life slowly fade, their hearts filled with complex emotions.
Peter's heart was filled with anxiety. The wounds on his body still ached faintly, but the worry in his heart far outweighed the physical pain.
He struggled to rise, desperate to find Mary, but Chen Ye firmly pressed him down.
"Peter, in your current state, going after her would be suicide."
Chen Ye's voice was firm and deep, his eyes filled with concern and resolve.
"Leave this to me. I'll bring your Mary back safe and sound. Trust me."
Hearing those words, Peter's face flushed slightly. *My Mary...*
"My Mary..." Peter murmured, his voice thick with endless worry and longing.
Chen Ye said nothing more. He turned and soared into the sky, beginning his search for Mary.
Suddenly, all the screens and televisions in Big Apple City lit up, and citizens stopped to watch.
Chen Ye also looked at the large screen. There, two figures in bizarre costumes appeared, their figures standing out vividly against the backdrop.
Chen Ye recognized them instantly: Vulture and Venom Spider-Man.
Venom Spider-Man, Eddie, spoke slowly, his voice echoing across the city: "Hello, everyone. I am the future superstar superhero, Venom. Today, I want to play a game with Peter... no, with Spider-Man."
As his words faded, a woman suddenly appeared on screen, dangling from a bridge.
Her body swayed precariously in the air, threatening to fall at any moment.
Vulture stood beside her, his eyes glinting with smugness and provocation.
"Will you choose to save this lady..." Vulture began, addressing the camera with a triumphant smirk.
Before he could finish, Venom's voice cut in from another screen: "...or save them instead?"
The camera cut to show all the employees of the news station tied up in one place, their faces etched with terror and helplessness.
