The carriage rolled steadily down the winding road of Stony Mountain, its wheels producing a rhythmic rumble against the uneven stones while the four snow stallions maintained an elegant pace. Inside, Lucien, Grandpa Kun, and Roland sat quietly, each occupied with private thoughts. The meeting at Stony Mountain had given them far too much to think about, and every discovery seemed to raise two new questions in return.
After several moments, Lucien lifted the carriage window and looked outside. Riding beside them was Sergio, still alert despite the peaceful journey. Lucien spoke calmly, "Sergio, have you eaten already?"
Sergio blinked in surprise. Throughout the years he had served Lucien, the young master had never suddenly asked such a question during a journey. Even Roland turned slightly with curiosity. Sergio straightened in the saddle. "Yes, Young Master. We all ate while we were at Miss Marcia's estate."
