Chapter 131 - 131

Sienna soon discovered that preparing a proper place for oil extraction was far more complicated than she had first imagined. 

At first she had assumed they only needed to set the presses inside an empty warehouse and begin working. 

After carefully considering the entire process, however, she realized how simplistic that idea had been. 

Like a farmer who believes sowing seeds is the hardest task, only to discover that watering, protecting, and harvesting demand even greater effort, she gradually understood that pressing oil involved far more than simply crushing fruit.

The first requirement was a proper washing area. 

Every oil fruit had to be thoroughly cleaned before it entered the press; otherwise dirt and impurities would mix into the oil, reducing both its purity and value. 

Operating the heavy machines themselves required continuous labor, but that difficulty could be solved easily.
