Zavian didn't care who was him watching him or not that was simply his nature.
He did what he wanted..and once he made a move--there was no turning back.
Sheyaan, whose heart was aching after seeing Lucy's condition, once again moved toward her.
But she had barely taken a few steps when Zavian, with a mysterious smile, gently grabbed her neck from behind.
Before Sheyaan could understand anything, he turned her toward himself and lifted her into his strong arms.
Looking straight into her eyes, he said in a firm tone:
"Don't be so kind... understood?!" Just..go frome here!"
Saying this, Zavian started taking Sheyaan away from there. Struggling in his grip, Sheyaan kept saying,
"Hey! Put me down... what are you.. doing?!"
But Zavian didn't listen at all. He carried her out of the hall and headed straight upstairs toward the bedroom.
This entire scene did not escape Chan's eyes. He had seen every single move of Zavian. In a low voice, he muttered to himself,
"What is he to her...?"
His question was still hanging in the air when Manglong's shout broke the silence.
"Chan! Call the ambulance...quickly! Lucy's condition is getting worse!"
Manglong shouted in panic.
Chan snapped out of his thoughts and hurriedly dialed for an ambulance. As soon as the call connected, he quickly said,
"Ambulance... we need—"
But before he could finish, Fangxi cut him off in urgency and panic,
"There's no need to call! By the time the ambulance.. arrives, we'll already be at the hospital!"
Without wasting a second, Fangxi lifted Lucy into his arms.and rushed outside.
Lucy, who had been writhing in pain, had now completely lost consciousness—her body lying limp in Fangxi's lap.
Manglong and Chan didn't waste a second; they ran outside and got the car ready.
They laid Lucy on the back seat, and all of them sped toward the hospital at a storm-like speed.
Fangxi may have hated Lucy because of her rude behavior and actions, but situations change when relationships are put to the test.
It is often said that the one who carries the responsibility of an entire household must care for everything and everyone.
And today, Fangxi did exactly that. He set aside his hatred--and chose his duty.
Throughout the journey, Lucy remained unconscious, her head resting in Fangxi's lap.
The car sped down the rood..but inside the car a heavy, suffocating silence filled the air.
While sitting in the car, Fangxi tried calling Zavian, but there was no response from the other side since Zavian's phone was on silent.
Giving up, Fangxi called the house landline. The phone kept ringing.
"Ring...Ring!"Ring...Ring!"
until finally, a servant answered.
"Yes who is it...?"
the servant's voice came.
Fangxi quickly said,
"Listen... Sheyaan hasn't had breakfast yet. Make sure.. she eats something immediately."
The servant replied politely,
"Alright, sir,"
and Fangxi ended the call.
Manglong, sitting in the front seat, became furious hearing all this.
At this moment, concern for Sheyaan felt like poison to him. Chan, who was driving, was lost in thoughts about Zavian and silently wondered,
"Why is he...staying with Sheyaan...?"
On the other side, Zavian had brought Sheyaan to her bedroom. With a firm tone, he made her sit on the bed and said:
"Sit here... and don't try to move around too much!"
As soon as she sat down, Sheyaan pushed Zavian back with one hand and said angrily,
"Just be quiet! Look at...what you've done to Lucy... I don't..even know what condition she must be in..right now!"
Zavian didn't respond to her words. He simply stared at her with his large, intense eyes—there was.
a deep coldness in his gaze, enough to silence her completely.
Zavian's gaze pierced through Sheyaan as he spoke in a flat, emotionless tone.
"Stop taking her name..." in this world, on one truly belongs to anyone."
"Everyone lives only for their own again." Stop worrying about others. Focus own yourself." Understood!"
Hearing such harsh and merciless words, Sheyaan made an innocent, pouty face and softly said,
"You're so mean..."
Seeing her innocent expression, a faint smile appeared on Zavian's lips. In a slightly softer tone, he said:
"Sometimes you have... to be cruel for people like them. In this human world, no one...is truly good or genuine... everyone is.. more deceitful than the other."
Sheyaan didn't react to his deep words, as if she didn't even want to understand them. Changing the topic, she said softly,
"I want to have breakfast... and you brought me here for no reason."
Saying this, Sheyaan got off the bed and started to leave, but just then Zavian stood behind her and, in a sarcastic tone, said:
"Humans really are... so lazy, aren't they?"
Hearing Zavian's "lazy" comment, Sheyaan stopped mid-step and turned back, narrowing her eyes as she said,
"I heard that... what did you just say?"
Zavian was momentarily shocked by her quick response. He hadn't expected her to react so fast.
He immediately lowered his voice, slipped his hand into his pocket, and said with a slight smile,
"Humans can be fast too..."
As she stepped out the door, Sheyaan cast one last deep glance at Zavian and walked away.
Zavian was surprised by the way she looked at him. Widening his eyes slightly, he murmured to himself,
"Did she hear it...?"
Then Zavian followed her into the hall. Sheyaan went straight to the sofa and sat down,
since the servants were cleaning near the dining table—Lucy's blood was still spread everywhere.
Just then, a servant approached Sheyaan and served her breakfast, saying:
"Here you go, ma'am. Your breakfast. Sir called and...asked me to serve it to you..quickly."
Sheyaan widened her eyes in surprise and asked,
"Did Fangxi really call?"
The servant replied respectfully,
"Yes, ma'am."
In a hurry, Sheyaan began to say,
"Okay... Lucy..."
But before she could finish, Zavian sat down right in front of her on the sofa.
Calmly, he picked up a newspaper and started reading it. Sheyaan stopped, looking at him...
Zavian lowered his newspaper and cast a deep look at Sheyaan before asking,
"What happened? Why did you.. suddenly stop talking?"
Sheyaan, who was nervous inside, stuttered,
"Uuh... I... it's nothing... I was just saying that..."
Then her eyes fell on the breakfast placed on the table, and she quickly forced a smile and said,
"Oh, yes... the breakfast looks beautiful..."
She glanced at the servant and added,
"Right...?"
The servant smiled politely and replied in a soft voice,
"Yes, ma'am."
Zavian paused for a moment—perhaps he had already caught her lie—but instead of pressing further, he went back to reading his newspaper.
Sheyaan let out a quiet sigh of relief and sat cross-legged on the sofa. Then, she subtly signaled the servant to come closer.
As the servant leaned in, Sheyaan whispered very softly into her ear,
"Did you ask... anything about Lucy...?"
But the servant unknowingly ruined her "secretive" attempt and spoke a bit loudly,
"No, ma'am! I haven't asked anything about Lucy ma'am."
The servant's loud voice created an awkward silence in the hall...
When Sheyaan noticed the servant speaking so loudly, she panicked and gestured for her to lower her voice.
"Shhhh... speak softly!"
she whispered, but the servant remained unaware. She failed to understand the signal and ended up saying everything out loud.
Zavian, who had been silent behind his newspaper, was now glaring at Sheyaan in anger.
His eyes questioned what she had been secretly discussing with the servant.
The moment Sheyaan looked at him, she became terrified and instinctively tried to hide her face.
Just then, Zavian said to the servant in a flat, cold tone,
"You may leave...!"
Without wasting a moment, the servant left. Zavian stood up and came to sit right beside Sheyaan.
Sheyaan still had one hand covering her face, glancing around nervously—as if she lacked the courage to face him.
Zavian gently yet firmly held her hands and removed them from her face, saying in a calm but firm tone:
"Look at me...!"
Trembling with fear, Sheyaan slowly lowered her hands and looked into Zavian's deep eyes.
Then, Zavian picked up the breakfast from the table and said softly:
"Your breakfast is getting cold... finish it."
Sheyaan, frightened by his sudden change in behavior, picked
up a piece of bread from the plate and began eating with trembling hands.
A heavy silence filled the hall, where only the sound of Sheyaan's breathing could be heard...
Zavian silently kept staring at Sheyaan with his flat expression and cold, intense gaze.
The weight of his eyes was becoming unbearable for her. While eating her bread, she asked in a trembling voice:
"why...why are you looking at...me like that? I'm eating now..., aren't I..."
Zavian replied strictly,
"I told you.. to eat quietly!"
Without asking anything further, Sheyaan continued eating and finished her breakfast in a short while.
But the moment she was done, she began to feel a strange restlessness in her body.
It was as if she had lost control over herself; she shifted uncomfortably in her place.
Zavian noticed her condition and said in a calm yet icy tone:
"Very good... keep listening to me.. like this. Now go and.. get ready, your professor will be here soon."
Hearing this, Sheyaan stood up to leave. Just then, Zavian stopped her,
"Wait."
Sheyaan turned back. In a cold, low voice, Zavian said,
"And.. don't take her name again."
Sheyaan silently obeyed and started walking away, while Zavian got busy with his phone.
But as soon as Sheyaan took a few steps forward, darkness began to blur her vision.
Her vision blurred, and she could barely see any thing. Her steps faltered, and in the next instant, she collapsed to the floor.
"Aaaah!"
