While Moonlight rested, Cloud looked to have something in mind. He came out of the library, his face red, and holding a book on his left hand.
"Why was he crying? Has he truly finished all this in a matter of a year? I still haven't reached anywhere." He looked at the library then, turned towards the door.
He focused his gaze to the book at hand, watching. "Hmm, I should ask Great Uncle."
"That kid sure is fast." A voice murmured.
"You think…G-good morning, Sir Cloud." Some passing maids bowed after laying their sights on Cloud.
Cloud looks, ignores and walks away.
After Cloud reached a certain distance, they spoke again. "First, an anti-social kid and a social one who cares about nothing." Spoke a disturbed voice.
"I heard their mother is arrogant." continued another.
"Probably runs in the family."
"They came here when they were five, right."
"Yes. I wonder what kind of life they had before coming here."
"I don't care, let's go. We have work."
The three continued their talk as they made their way to who knows what.
At the third floor, Cloud moves at an unhurried pace. As he moved, the hallway cleared, revealing the countless number of doors. Like twenty or thirty or forty or so rooms.
"It feels like moving through a small village." Cloud whispered.
The hallway stretched far and wide. Multiple glass windows sat on the opposite side with one goal, receiving the sunlight. The room smelled of nothing. The best way to describe it was neutral.
Cloud felt this too, "Everything about this house…too normal." He said as he stopped at a door in the distance.
KNOCK!
He knocked. The door opened as if it was expecting him.
"Cloud, what are you doing here?" a voice said in a drawn tone.
"You know what I'm here for, you promised." Cloud responded.
The voice made itself known. Cloud's raised his eyes.
He appeared only with his black tinted trousers. His hair covered his main body. He cleaned his eyes, and came out fully naked from the waist down.
"So, do you agree?" Cloud asked, straightening his focus towards Great Uncle.
Great Uncle stared at him with observing eyes for some moment. Then he spoke, "Yeah, you can have it."
Cloud face lit up in excitement.
"But, you must add to its collection. In simpler terms, in order for you to take this from this house, you must add." reconsidered Great Uncle.
Cloud smile lowered. "Oh…"
"Don't go sad. Besides, nothing comes from nothing. Equivalent exchange, you may say."
"Equi—how do you know that?"
Great Uncle gave a hearty laugh as he patted Cloud's back. "I know lots of things. It seems everyone is already there. Looks like this will start earlier than expected."
"Yeah…huh"
"HEAVE-HO!"
He kidnapped Cloud.
