"Hey—Kisaragi ended her turn without even summoning a monster. What's she trying to do?" Honda blurted out.
"Don't ask me," Jonouchi snapped. "Kisaragi's duels aren't something you can understand with common sense."
"Mind Scan."
The instant Pegasus spoke, his left eye flared with light.
"Kisaragi—watch out!" Dark Yugi shouted. "Pegasus is using the Millennium Eye to read your mind!"
"Huh?" Anzu blinked. "He can read minds? What's the Millennium Eye?"
Dark Yugi took a breath and explained quickly.
"The Millennium Eye is one of the seven Millennium Items passed down since Ancient Egypt. Each one has its own power. The Millennium Puzzle on my chest is one of them. The Millennium Ring around Bakura's neck is another. And the one Pegasus possesses… is the Millennium Eye."
"We got that videotape Pegasus sent after the national tournament," Dark Yugi continued. "And I dueled him once before. There was no conclusion—but with the Millennium Eye, he saw through every card I held and every tactic I planned."
Jonouchi's face went pale.
"Then doesn't that mean Pegasus can see all of Kisaragi's cards and strategy too?"
"Exactly," Dark Yugi said grimly. "From the moment this duel began, it was unfair."
Pegasus chuckled, voice dripping with smug certainty.
"Heh heh heh… Yugi-boy, even if you warn Miss Kisaragi, it's meaningless. No one can resist the Millennium Eye."
He leaned into the power again, trying to peer through Kisaragi—at her set card, her Graveyard, her hand.
The images almost came into focus—
—and then a massive Blue-Eyes White Dragon surged into view inside Kisaragi's mind, planting itself squarely between Pegasus and the cards.
It turned toward Pegasus and roared.
"ROOOAAAR!"
The roar slammed into Pegasus like a physical blow. He stumbled back again and again, forced to cut off the Millennium Eye's power. When he finally regained his balance, he was drenched in cold sweat—down on one knee, breathing hard.
"Wh-what the hell…?" Jonouchi muttered, staring. "Pegasus looks like he's in pain."
Even Dark Yugi couldn't hide his confusion. The Millennium Eye's mind-reading shouldn't come with recoil like that.
Kisaragi tilted her head, voice cool and almost amused.
"What's wrong, Pegasus? If you're not feeling well, you can always surrender."
Pegasus snapped his head up, rage and shock twisting his face.
"Y-you… what are you?!" he roared. "Why is there a Blue-Eyes White Dragon in your mind—blocking my vision so I can't see your cards?!"
Dark Yugi's eyes widened.
"He can't read Kisaragi's mind?" he breathed. "Don't tell me… the spirit inside her is suppressing the Millennium Eye?"
Jonouchi's expression shifted as he remembered.
"Wait—after Kisaragi dueled Mai, she nearly went berserk, right? And what appeared back then… was Blue-Eyes White Dragon."
Anzu's eyes lit up.
"So the Blue-Eyes spirit inside Kisaragi can counter the Millennium Eye!"
Honda clenched his fist, practically bouncing.
"Then this duel isn't decided anymore! We've got hope—real hope!"
A few breaths later, Pegasus slowly stood upright again. His smile returned—sharper now, almost thrilled.
"Honestly… this is the first time I've ever been unable to see someone's heart. I'm amazed. What an exquisite experience… but— my advantage hasn't changed."
He lifted his hand.
"My turn. Draw!"
The Trap Was the Opening Move
The moment Pegasus drew, Kisaragi cut in without hesitation.
"I activate the effect of Arc-Light Valor Dragon in my Graveyard. During the next turn's Standby Phase after it's sent to the Graveyard, I can target a Level 7 or 8 Dragon in my Graveyard—except Arc-Light Valor Dragon—and Special Summon it."
"Come forth—Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
A white dragon burst into the sky and descended onto Kisaragi's field in a thunderous gust of air.

Dark Yugi's eyes sharpened as everything clicked into place.
"So that's it… Kisaragi used Graceful Charity on turn one to send Arc-Light Valor Dragon to the Graveyard, then used Trade-In not just to draw, but to discard Blue-Eyes… all to revive it during Pegasus' turn."
Mai whistled softly, impressed.
"So that's why she didn't summon anything on her own turn—because she knew Blue-Eyes would hit the field the moment Pegasus started moving."
"Seriously… that's insane," Honda muttered.
Pegasus' grin widened, but there was tension in it now.
"Miss Kisaragi, you really are full of surprises. However—before this card, no monster matters!"
Welcome to Toon World
"I activate Toon Table of Contents!" Pegasus declared. "With this card, I add one 'Toon' card from my Deck to my hand. I choose—Toon Kingdom!"
"Next, I banish the top three cards of my Deck face-down, and activate the Field Spell—Toon Kingdom!"
A massive storybook rose from the floor. It opened, and from its pages a bright, absurd little castle popped into existence, as if it had been drawn in ink and colored with crayons.
"'Toon'?" Jonouchi frowned. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"That's just comics, you idiot," Honda shot back. "Don't tell me you've never seen this stuff."
"I didn't have money to waste on things like that!" Jonouchi snapped.
Pegasus spread his arms theatrically.
"Heh heh heh—Miss Kisaragi, welcome to my Toon World!"
"I Special Summon Toon Mermaid! As long as 'Toon World' is on the field, she can be Special Summoned!"
Toon Mermaid(1400 ATK / 1500 DEF)
"So those are Toon monsters…" Jonouchi muttered, staring.
Pegasus tapped his finger against his Millennium Eye, smiling like a showman.
"Miss Kisaragi, my Toons cannot attack the turn they're Summoned. But starting next turn—if you don't control a Toon monster, my Toons can ignore your monsters and attack you directly."
Dark Yugi's face tightened.
"If she doesn't eliminate the Toons, she'll be taking direct attacks every turn…"
Pegasus didn't stop.
"Next, I Special Summon Toon Harpie Lady! Just like Toon Mermaid, she can be Special Summoned while Toon World is active!"

"That's Mai's card!" Jonouchi blurted out. "He turned it into a Toon!"
Mai's face went flat—pure irritation in a single expression.
Pegasus continued, unfazed.
"I activate Toon Harpie Lady's effect! If I control another Toon monster, I can destroy one Spell or Trap you control."
Toon Harpie Lady sprang into the air and shattered Kisaragi's set card in a burst of glittering debris.
Then Pegasus raised his hand.
"Now I Tribute Toon Mermaid and Toon Harpie Lady… and Summon from my hand—Toon Red-Eyes Black Dragon!"
Toon Red-Eyes Black Dragon(2400 ATK / 2000 DEF)
"Even my Red-Eyes got turned into a Toon…!" Jonouchi ground his teeth.
Pegasus' smile sharpened again.
"I activate Toon Red-Eyes Black Dragon's effect—once per turn, I can Special Summon one Toon monster from my hand, ignoring its Summoning conditions, except another Toon Red-Eyes."
"Come forth—Toon Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
