Let's not forget that Pokemon is a series of games that costed millions of dollars to develop and to expect a 25-year old to develop it himself with no funds was nothing short of a pipe dream.
His only hope now was to gather information, maybe there was enough similarities with his old world that he can exploit to make money.
"Alright, If Bitcoin just started here and it's a parallel universe I might make enough bread to create one game."
But after looking around, David had a few conclusions:
1. Pokemon didn't exist here
2. There seems to have been a technological boom (about 10 to 20 years of technological progress from his old universe)
3. Bitcoin doesn't exist.
With these conclusions, a plan started to form in David's mind, a plan that would use these advancements in technology to create his Pokemon game.
"It seems they got really good VR and graphics technology here, but geez, they still have the same problems as my old world here too, it might even be even worse here!"
That's right, the game companies of this world had a lack of creativity and rehashed the same old ideas all the time and rarely tried to create a new IP, which of course disappointed gamers who wanted games that were fun and innovative.
"Honestly, it's pretty sad, but I can use this gap in the market to entice more customers to buy the game."
"How should I make money? Man, it's not easy being poor. Wait, I forgot, this a parallel universe so that's means because Pokemon doesn't exist here, I didn't buy Pokemon merch, so what did I used the money for? Maybe I saved it here!"
David heart was now filled with hope, if his guess was right, he could start the project right away!
What David didn't know was like him, the David from this timeline didn't have a family and while Pokemon filled the gap in his heart, here David didn't get that connection and due to the bad quality of games, the original David of this universe died in despair in his bed, it was the main reason why God chose this timeline, so that David could enter this new body and serve his punishment while replacing the old David.
