Chapter 6 - The First Day Inside Chanderi

Morning sunlight entered the room.

For a few seconds, Ayaan simply stared at the ceiling.

Then reality returned.

This was not Delhi.

This was not the Void.

This was not a movie playing on a screen.

This was Chanderi.

A real place.

A real world.

And now...

His world.

............................

Ayaan got ready and looked at himself once again.

The person in the mirror was familiar.

But different.

The same face.

The same identity.

But something about him had changed.

There was more confidence in his expression.

More awareness in his eyes.

Like someone who had already lost one life and gained another.

Morphion reacted.

"You are observing yourself again."

Ayaan smiled.

"First day."

**"You have checked your appearance multiple times."

"Can you blame me?"

A pause.

**"No. The new body is an important change."

Ayaan nodded.

"Exactly."

............................

He stepped outside his apartment.

And for the first time...

He entered this world.

Not through a screen.

Not through imagination.

Through his own footsteps.

............................

The first thing he noticed was not the supernatural.

It was the people.

A shopkeeper opening his store.

Children going around.

People discussing daily problems.

Someone arguing over prices.

Someone laughing.

Someone rushing because they were late.

Normal life.

The part stories rarely focused on.

............................

Ayaan walked slowly through the streets.

He already knew Chanderi.

At least, he knew the version shown in the story.

But this was different.

The streets were larger.

The people had their own lives.

The world continued even when the main characters were not present.

............................

Morphion spoke.

**"Your previous information covers only a small percentage."

Ayaan nodded.

"Exactly."

He looked around.

"The movie showed the important events."

"But this..."

He watched an old man sitting outside a shop.

"This is everything between those events."

............................

Ayaan did not immediately rush toward the supernatural.

That was the mistake many people made.

Knowing the future did not mean you ignored the present.

Information was a weapon.

But using a weapon blindly was stupidity.

............................

As he walked, he noticed small things.

People lowering their voices near certain topics.

Old symbols on some houses.

Small habits that seemed normal to locals but carried hidden meaning.

The fear was not obvious.

It was part of daily life.

A tradition.

A memory.

A warning.

............................

Ayaan smiled slightly.

"So it really is like that."

Morphion asked:

**"Explain."

"People adapt."

"They live with things they cannot explain."

"They create habits around them."

............................

Morphion processed it.

**"Humans are interesting."

Ayaan laughed.

"You are saying that while talking to a human."

**"I am connected to you."

"So?"

**"Your opinion is biased."

Ayaan smiled.

"You are getting sarcastic."

**"Learning from you."

"That's dangerous."

............................

They continued walking.

Ayaan reached the marketplace.

The atmosphere was different here.

More alive.

More crowded.

More human.

And somewhere within all this...

something felt different.

Not visible.

Not obvious.

But present.

............................

Ayaan stopped.

Morphion noticed.

**"You sensed something."

Ayaan looked around.

"Maybe."

**"Your knowledge?"

"No."

He smiled.

"Instinct."

............................

That was something he had not expected.

Before, he only had information.

Now he had a new body.

A new connection.

New senses.

Reality was giving him things the movie never showed.

............................

Ayaan continued walking.

He knew this world.

He knew the major events.

He knew the supernatural cycle connected to this place.

But he also understood:

The moment he arrived...

The story changed.

Because he was no longer watching.

He was participating.

............................

Somewhere in Chanderi...

A hidden presence existed.

A presence connected to the old stories of the town.

A presence that would eventually cross paths with him.

............................

But Ayaan was not searching desperately.

Not yet.

Today was not about changing fate.

Today was about understanding reality.

............................

He looked at the streets again.

A small smile appeared.

"First day."

Morphion replied:

**"Assessment?"

Ayaan thought for a moment.

Then answered:

"Interesting."

A pause.

"And definitely not as simple as the movie made it look."

............................

He kept walking.

A new resident of Chanderi.

A person who knew the legends.

But was ready to meet the people behind them.

Because this was no longer a story.

This was life.
