Sasuke narrowed his eyes. Idiot. There's definitely more to this test than it looks.
"Has no one taught you to respect your teacher? At least call me Teacher Renji," Renji said calmly.
As Naruto rushed in, Renji slowly raised a finger and flicked Naruto's forehead.

Naruto flew like a cannonball, crashing heavily into the ground dozens of meters away.
"Ahhh! It hurts, it hurts!" Naruto rolled on the ground, clutching his swollen forehead.
Sakura stared in shock. "So strong…"
Just one finger sent Naruto flying.
"I forgot to mention," Renji added with a chuckle, "I can fight back."
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"
Sasuke suddenly leaped backward and rapidly formed hand signs, spewing out a massive blazing fireball. The flames scorched the ground as they roared toward Renji like a meteor.
Renji watched it calmly. "Impressive. That's nearly Chunin-level power. The Uchiha brat isn't bad."
The blazing fireball closed in—
Renji lightly exhaled.
A gust of chakra-infused wind burst from his breath and instantly scattered the massive flames into nothing.
Sasuke's eyes widened. "How…"
He had expected Earth Style or Water Style.
But Renji simply breathed it away.

This gap… it's monstrous.

Sakura hid beside him, clutching her forehead. "Sigh… idiot. He just got flicked away and still wants a frontal attack."
Naruto pointed at Renji, laughing loudly. "Now no one will interrupt us! Let's begin, Teacher Renji!"
Renji gestured politely. "Please. Attack however you like."
"Damn it! Don't underestimate me!"

Dozens of Narutos burst from the smoke, surrounding Renji instantly.
