All members of Team 7 froze in shock. None of them had even reacted before Zabuza was already sent flying.
It happened instantly.
If Teacher Renji had not acted just now, Team 7 would probably have been wiped out.
"Who is this guy? What an amazing ninja!" Naruto said as his hand holding the kunai trembled slightly while he stared at Zabuza in the distance.
Even he could tell that this bandaged man was far more terrifying than the three black-clad ninja earlier.
"Kirigakure jonin and also an A-rank rogue ninja, the Demon Person Zabuza Momochi," Renji said as he stroked his chin thoughtfully.
"He supposedly killed a hundred ninja by himself. He should be quite strong, right?"
It was difficult for him to define what strong meant.
Below Six Paths level, everyone was basically the same.
"Turtle person run-away brother don't touch?" Naruto muttered in confusion.
This uncle's name sounded strange.
"He's a jonin!" Sakura Haruno's pupils shrank as she stared at Zabuza with fear.

Renji stood calmly with his hands in his pockets and replied, "Your intelligence is correct. I really don't have the Byakugan."

Ninja also had ranks.
"If I am a first-class ninja, then you are..." Renji smiled mockingly. "A ninth-rate ninja."
He enjoyed trash-talking enemies.
Especially when they could not do anything about it.
It was fun.
Team 7 was stunned.
They did not expect Renji's speech to end with pure mockery.

"You plan to defeat me within three minutes? You're even more arrogant than the rumors say," Zabuza sneered as he glanced toward the distant lake.
He needed to move the battlefield closer to water.
His Water Release techniques would be much stronger there.
"I'll give you three minutes. Attack however you like. Use your strongest techniques. My students haven't seen much of the world, so this is a good chance for them to learn something," Renji said calmly.
He also wanted to test his elementalization ability.
"Are you serious?" Zabuza's expression darkened further.
Giving the enemy three minutes to attack freely.
This was the first time he had seen such arrogance.
Renji must be planning something.
"Teacher Renji, stop messing around!" Sakura Haruno scolded him anxiously.
Giving the enemy three minutes was too reckless.
"A plan?" Sasuke frowned slightly.
Teacher Renji must be preparing something.
Otherwise he would not act like this.
"It's fine. Attack however you like, because..." Renji waved his hand casually and smiled mockingly. "You're very weak."
If you had power, you should show it off.
Otherwise what was the point of fighting at all?
