"Don't worry, Sasuke, no matter what happens, I will never abandon my comrades," Kakashi Hatake said as he turned and chuckled softly.
As if sensing that Naruto and the others could barely endure the pressure any longer, his gentle smile and relaxed tone dispersed the killing intent filling the air.
Zabuza observed quietly and thought to himself that Kakashi was certainly not simple.
With just a few words, Kakashi had completely dispelled the terrifying influence of his killing intent on Uzumaki Naruto and the others.
But Zabuza was far from finished.
"Water Release: Hidden Mist Technique."
He quickly formed hand seals, and a dense mist appeared out of nowhere, rapidly spreading across the battlefield until everyone was completely enveloped within it.
Visibility dropped to only a few meters.
"Die."
Under the cover of the mist, Zabuza activated his famous Silent Killing Technique.
His figure appeared instantly among Naruto's group, locking onto them and the client they were protecting as he swung the Executioner's Blade in a deadly arc to decapitate them all.
At that moment Kakashi had already revealed his Sharingan.
The three tomoe spun rapidly within the crimson eye as he kicked off the ground and rushed forward instantly.
His kunai blocked Zabuza's attack and stabbed into Zabuza's abdomen.
However, instead of blood, water flowed out.
"Sensei, behind you!" Naruto shouted urgently.
Another Zabuza suddenly appeared behind Kakashi and swung the Executioner's Blade downward.
Kakashi had no time to dodge and was cut directly through.
Yet the Kakashi that was struck instantly turned into water.
It was a Water Clone.
The battle between Jonin was extremely dangerous.
Their attacks often looked simple, yet every move carried lethal danger, and a single mistake meant death.
"You actually copied my ninjutsu even inside this thick mist," Zabuza said in surprise.
A kunai was already pressed against his throat.
"Don't move, you've already lost," Kakashi Hatake said confidently.
"Great! Sensei won!" Naruto and the others cheered excitedly.
Zabuza let out a faint chuckle and calmly replied, "So you copied my ninjutsu earlier, but saying I've already lost means you're underestimating me."
As he spoke, his body suddenly dissolved into water.
Another Zabuza appeared behind Kakashi again, raising the Executioner's Blade and swinging it down.
At the critical moment Kakashi instantly crouched to dodge the strike, but Zabuza seized the opportunity and kicked him flying straight into the river.
"What incredible taijutsu," Sasuke said while watching Zabuza's swift and brutal movements.
Kakashi attempted to hide underwater but suddenly realized something was wrong.
Why is the water so heavy?
His expression immediately changed.
"Fool," Zabuza said coldly. "Water Release: Water Prison Technique."
He appeared directly behind Kakashi and completed the jutsu instantly, trapping Kakashi inside a sphere of water.
Afterward he created several Water Clones to deal with Naruto and the others.
"Without Kakashi you're all just trash," Zabuza said coldly.
"You people think you're qualified to be called ninja, but today I will show you what a real ninja is, and the price will be your lives."
Just as Zabuza's clone prepared to attack, a figure suddenly burst out of the river.
"Get lost."
The person hiding in the water was none other than Sora.
After mastering water nature transformation and training intensely for two years, Sora's concealment ability had reached an extremely high level.
Because Zabuza had focused entirely on Kakashi, he never noticed Sora hiding nearby.
"What?"
Zabuza, famous throughout the ninja world for his assassination skills, instantly realized he had miscalculated.
He barely managed to swing the Executioner's Blade to block.
Sora's punch looked simple, but the terrifying force behind it exploded upon contact.
The impact nearly caused Zabuza to lose his grip on the blade.
He was blasted backward more than ten meters before crashing into a large tree.
Kakashi, who had been trapped inside the Water Prison, was finally freed.
"Who are you?" Kakashi asked while looking at the newcomer with surprise.
The boy appeared to be roughly the same age as Naruto and the others, yet his water release techniques had fooled both Kakashi and Zabuza.
Seeing that Sora wore no forehead protector, Kakashi realized he was not from any of the Five Great Ninja Villages.
But how could someone outside the hidden villages possess such strength?
"My name is Sora," The boy said calmly.
"Now isn't the time for introductions, the priority is defeating Zabuza, and until he's defeated our goals are the same."
With that, Sora charged forward first.
He wanted to test the results of his two years of training and see whether he could truly fight a Jonin.
"Don't get cocky, kid," Zabuza said coldly.
Being pushed back by a brat was humiliating, yet Sora's strength had already shocked him.
Compared to Naruto standing nearby, this boy was the real threat.
"You think you can defeat me?" Zabuza swung the Executioner's Blade in a strange arc toward Sora, attacking with full power.
"Monster Strength Fist."
Sora roared internally as chakra surged through his body and gathered into his fist.
When his punch collided with the Executioner's Blade again, the explosive force erupted instantly.
Zabuza's eyes widened.
This time the power was even stronger than before.
The hand holding his blade nearly went numb as he was blasted backward once again and sent sliding across the river's surface.
Naruto stared in shock and asked, "Who is that guy?"
"I think his name is Sora, and he actually sent Zabuza flying," Sakura said with disbelief.
Sasuke clenched his fists tightly. As a member of the Uchiha clan, he had nearly collapsed under Zabuza's killing intent.
Yet someone his own age was actually fighting Zabuza head-on.
How could this be possible?
Kakashi stared at Sora's back as his pupils shrank slightly.
His Sharingan had clearly seen Sora's attack.
That level of raw strength could only come from one specific fighting style.
Could it be that person's technique?
Zabuza steadied himself and sneered coldly.
"Kid, ninjutsu alone won't defeat me, today I'll show you what a real ninja battle looks like."
"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique."
Sora responded immediately.
"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique."
Both of them formed hand seals at astonishing speed.
Their hands moved so quickly that they completed the seals almost at the exact same moment.
