Under the shocked gazes of everyone present, two massive water dragons rose from the river and collided violently in mid-air.
They tore into each other before dissolving simultaneously into countless splashes of water that rained down across the battlefield.
"That's a high-level Water Release technique, so how can his taijutsu be so strong while also mastering such powerful ninjutsu?" Sasuke thought as he stared at the battle.
The more Uchiha Sasuke watched, the harder it became for him to accept.
Under the long shadow cast by Uchiha Itachi, Sasuke's mind had already become extremely sensitive and somewhat unstable.
Combined with the arrogance that came from being born into the Uchiha clan, feelings of jealousy began to emerge naturally.
Unless he changed his mindset and overcame this mentality, it could become very dangerous for him.
Kakashi quietly observed Sora while thinking carefully.
There was no mistake.
This boy was very likely connected to that person.
But that person had once said they would never take disciples, so when did they secretly train such an extraordinary young genius?

At her age, Sakura naturally liked to make comparisons.
Back in the academy her perspective had been narrow, and Sasuke had appeared to be the most outstanding, handsome, and powerful person.
But once she stepped outside that small world, things began to change.
Her feelings toward Sasuke were merely a shallow crush, similar to how fans admired celebrities.
When she saw someone even more impressive, the comparison made Sasuke appear less extraordinary.
After all, she had never truly fallen in love with Sasuke.
At times like this, comparisons were the most dangerous thing.
As the saying goes, people do not fear lacking something, but they fear comparison.
Zabuza stared coldly at Sora and said, "Kid, I can't believe you know such advanced Water Release techniques, but your chakra can't support many more uses."
Zabuza's experience allowed him to instantly judge that Sora's chakra level was roughly around Chunin level.
Compared to a veteran Jonin like himself, it was far inferior.
If the battle continued long enough, he could simply exhaust Sora.
"Is that so?" Sora sneered.
Before this, he would never have dared to compete with Zabuza in a battle of endurance.
However, after multiple rounds of Water and Fire Tempering, both his body and spirit had improved dramatically.
His chakra had become far more refined and of much higher quality than that of a typical elite Chunin.
Although he could not fully match a Jonin's chakra reserves, his chakra would not be depleted easily.
Furthermore, Kakashi Hatake was still watching nearby.
Zabuza would never dare to exhaust all his strength in such a risky battle.
Chakra was essentially the vitality and energy of the human body.
Once it was exhausted, it meant the ninja's physical and mental strength would collapse.
For a ninja, running out of chakra did not only mean losing the ability to perform ninjutsu.
It meant their entire body would become weak and defenseless.
If Zabuza became weak now, Kakashi would kill him instantly.
"Then try to exhaust my chakra," Sora said coldly as he suddenly exploded forward with incredible speed.
A sonic boom echoed as he appeared above Zabuza and stomped downward.
"Heavenly Foot of Pain."
Zabuza immediately swung the Executioner's Blade toward Sora's leg.
Although he could not match Sora's strength, the blade's sharpness could easily cripple Sora's leg if it connected.
"Child's play."
Sora's left foot moved like a flexible snake and hooked the blade, redirecting its edge away while his right foot slammed down.
A thunderous impact erupted.
Zabuza felt his blood and energy churn violently as if he were about to spit blood.
The ground beneath his feet cracked and sank.
Sora was now only a step away from fully mastering Monster Strength Fist.
His chakra control was already comparable to Shizune's, and with his current physical strength the destructive force behind his attacks was terrifying.
A faint smile appeared on Sora's face.
This was only the beginning.
Once he closed the distance, even a Jonin could face death.
Twisting his waist with astonishing control, Sora unleashed a powerful spinning kick that tore through the air with a sharp gust of wind.
"Water Release: Water Prison Technique."
Zabuza snorted and quickly formed hand seals, completing the jutsu before the kick could land.
"This is bad," Kakashi thought as he rushed forward to intervene.
However, Sora reacted even faster.
The Sora trapped inside the water prison suddenly transformed into a log.
It was a substitution.
"Water Release: Water Prison Technique."
Sora appeared behind Zabuza and trapped him inside a massive sphere of water.
But at that moment Zabuza's voice came from behind him.
"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique."
A gigantic water dragon surged from the river and rushed toward Sora.
Unbeknownst to everyone, Zabuza had secretly swapped places with a Water Clone earlier.
The Zabuza trapped by Sora was only a clone.
The two were now competing purely in Water Release mastery.
The dazzling ninjutsu and lightning-fast hand seals left Naruto and the others completely stunned.
For the first time they understood what a real ninja battle looked like.
Their previous fights had been nothing more than children's games.
"No choice then," Sora muttered.
"Secret Technique: Blood and Qi Combustion."
Years of Water and Fire Tempering had given Sora extraordinary control over his own blood and energy.
He could direct his blood flow to any part of his body instantly, accelerating it and increasing his combat power dramatically.
However, this was not the true extent of his technique.
Through repeated Water and Fire Tempering, his spirit had gradually fused with his blood and energy.
With a single thought, the blood within his body moved as freely as his limbs.
Through research with Tsunade and Shizune, they had eventually perfected this secret technique.
Blood and Qi Combustion.
In this state, Sora's body functioned like an engine fueled by his own blood.
Once ignited, it could unleash terrifying power.
However, the price was severe.
Burning blood and energy without the balancing effect of water chakra would rapidly drain his vitality and could even lead to death.
In many ways it was similar to a forbidden technique like the Eight Gates.
"Water Release: Water Formation Wall."
Sora's speed suddenly increased dramatically.
His chakra surged violently, and his hand seals completed almost instantly.
A towering wall of water rose before him and blocked the incoming water dragon.
The clash of the two Water Release techniques flooded the battlefield, turning the surrounding ground into a shallow river.
But neither of the fighters cared.
As the water exploded around them, Sora and Zabuza collided once more in mid-air.
