Earth-65. Manhattan.

The hole in Morlun's chest writhed with dark-red flesh buds — healing at a speed that made the word "regeneration" feel inadequate.

He cracked his neck. Vertebrae popping like gunshots.

"Nuclear radiation. Crude. But filling."

Fangs bared. Legs bent. The concrete beneath him shattered.

BOOM!

Morlun became a dark-red blur — faster than before. The absorbed energy had supercharged his already terrifying physical capabilities.

Jake didn't retreat.

Whoosh!

The nuclear mecha vanished. In its place — bulky Soviet-style radiation armor, heavy iron helmet, the walking containment unit of a being too radioactive to exist unshielded.

NRG.

BANG!

Morlun's fist hit the iron helmet. A punch that could breach aircraft-carrier armor left a shallow dent — and cracked Morlun's own finger bones.

"Scrap metal!" Morlun switched to claws, trying to tear through to the vitality inside—

"Warning. Shell temperature: four thousand degrees."

SZZZT!

Morlun's palm seared open on contact. Burnt meat.

"Hot?"

Jake grabbed the visor bars. Pulled them up.

WHOOSH—!!!

The visor opened. Concentrated radioactive energy — accumulated inside the containment armor under pressure — erupted into Morlun's face like a volcanic blast at point-blank range.

"AAAHH!!!"

Face melted. Skin gone. White bone exposed. Morlun used the beam's force to launch himself backward through a load-bearing wall.

Jake closed the visor. Expressionless.

In the ruins, Morlun stood. Flesh buds growing over exposed skull. Regenerating while standing.

"You can't kill me." His one remaining eye fixed on Jake. "I am immortal. Your energy will run out."

His gaze found Gwen.

"Totem blood restores me instantly."

BANG!

He pivoted — ignoring Jake, skating across the ground at impossible speed, claws reaching for Gwen's throat—

Whoosh!

XLR8.

Jake arrived first. A whip-kick connected with Morlun's ribs.

BANG!

Morlun hit the street. Before he could rise—

Whoosh!

Gravattack.

"Kneel."

A thousand-fold gravitational field opened directly above Morlun.

BOOM!

The ground collapsed ten meters deep. Morlun's knees shattered on impact. He caught himself with his hands — muscles tearing, blood spraying — fighting to stay upright under gravity that would have crushed a building.

"I am... a GOD!"

Under a thousand times normal gravity, Morlun straightened his back. Inch by agonizing inch.

"Tough bones. And immortal."

Jake knew the lore. Kill Morlun physically, and his consciousness transfers to a clone at the Inheritors' base. Infinite resurrection. Death wasn't a solution — it was a reset button.

"Can't kill you? Fine. Different approach."

Jake activated the Omnitrix's spatial permissions.

CHI—

At the bottom of the pit, beneath Morlun's shattered knees, a purple-black rift tore open.

Inside: nothing. No light. No sound. Endless void. Drifting asteroid fragments. No life force to absorb. No way out.

The Null Void.

"WHAT IS THIS PLACE?!" Morlun looked down into the abyss. For the first time — genuine, instinctive terror. He clawed at the pit's walls, desperately trying to climb free.

"Your grave."

Whoosh!

Way Big.

The cosmic giant rose — dozens of meters, red-and-white, blade-crested — and looked down at the ant struggling at the bottom of a hole.

Jake raised his foot.

Aimed.

Stomped.

"NOOOO—!!!"

BANG!!!

The foot drove Morlun — along with the surrounding rubble — into the Null Void rift like kicking trash into a drain.

Jake retracted his foot.

The rift snapped shut. Not a ripple remained.

No death. No clone activation. Morlun would drift in the void dimension — no Totem blood to absorb, no life force to drain, no way to heal, no way to escape. Consciousness intact, body deteriorating, starving until his mind broke.

Checkmate.

Jake detransformed. Human. Landing on the cratered street.

The breeze pushed dust across the silence.

George Stacy stood frozen — pistol raised, wrist locked in a position it had held since the fight began. He looked at the crater where a cosmic giant's foot had just deposited a multiversal predator into another dimension, then at the teenager walking toward him.

"Gwen..." George's voice cracked. "Is this boyfriend of yours... an alien god?"

Gwen pulled back her hood. Exhaled the tension of the last twenty minutes. Ran to Jake, checked him over — no injuries — then turned to her father.

"Dad. Let me introduce him properly."

She took Jake's arm.

"Jake Rivers. Supreme Commander of the Plumbers. And my boyfriend."

Jake extended his hand. "Nice to meet you, Captain Stacy. Sorry about the mess. I promise I'm a good person."

George looked at the hand. At the craters. At the frozen Sinister Six. At the pit where two multiversal threats had been disposed of.

He shook it.

"As long as you don't tear down any more of New York... no objections."

Jake walked to Albedo's unconscious body. Ripped the shattered red Ultimatrix from his wrist. Tossed it into subspace.

"Gwen."

"Here."

"Call the Moon base. Two assault ships. Engineering robots. Medical team."

Jake surveyed the broken city — Earth-65's New York, Gwen's home, scarred but standing.

"Since we're here... might as well establish a branch."
