"Whew, that little trip through time was quite something. Gotta make time to get out more often."
Outside Konoha, two figures materialized—Qianyu and Madara, returned to their original timeline.
"This should be the 'third day' after we left," Qianyu mused, checking the surroundings. "Karasuki's controls are still a bit clunky. Then again, it was designed for Ōtsutsuki operation systems."
After confirming the time, he glanced at Madara. "Well, this is where we part ways. I'm heading home."
"Mm. Go on. Don't mind me." A flicker of something unreadable passed through Madara's eyes before he dismissed Qianyu with his usual cold wave.
Swish!
Qianyu vanished in an instant. Madara shot off in the opposite direction, putting as much distance between them as possible.
"Limbo: Border Jail!"
Once certain he was outside Qianyu's sensory range, Madara summoned a shadow from the Limbo dimension. He plunged a hand into its form and pulled out a condensed, silvery-white sphere of light that pulsed with tangible energy.
Qianyu's essence chakra. Collected in secret over these past days.
"Qianyu," Madara murmured, a cold smirk twisting his lips as he tossed the glowing sphere. "Thanks for the company. You're not a bad kid, honestly. But this… this is what you owe me."
With this, he could finally be free of Qianyu.
He was Madara Uchiha, the Asura of the Shinobi World. Even with his changed perspective, did they think he'd willingly live under someone's thumb forever? Qianyu had taken too much from him. That grudge wouldn't settle. And they were both immortal. If he didn't find a way to deal with Qianyu, this brat would be riding his head for all eternity!
"If I remember correctly, in that other world… Karasuki was salvaged from the ocean to the east."
Pocketing the chakra sphere, Madara transformed into a streak of light, shooting with deadly purpose toward a specific stretch of sea—coordinates he'd memorized in secret.
'Something's wrong… I smell bloodlust.'
The moment Qianyu teleported home, a wave of icy cold hit his back. It wasn't just a chill—it was a bone-chilling gust, like the dead of winter blasting from a 16°C AC vent, making his spine prickle.
"Qian! Yu! So you finally decided to come home. Keeping me waiting, you little—!"
"Qianyu-kun, you promised to come find me after you were done. Why have you been missing for days? And… who is she?"
'Oh no. No, no, no.'
Qianyu turned around, his scalp crawling. Two elegant figures stood behind him, arms crossed, locked in a silent standoff. He'd teleported right into the no-man's-land between them.
'This… is hell. Why are they both in my house?!'
A silent scream echoed in his mind. It was Tsunade and Mikoto.
Mikoto, not seeing Qianyu for three days, had come by out of worry. Tsunade, nudged by Nawaki's persuasion to let go of her earlier awkwardness, had done the same.
Thus, by cruel fate, they had collided. And that meant Qianyu… was utterly, completely screwed.
"So this is why you've been avoiding me lately!" Tsunade exploded, all her pent-up fury finding its target now that Qianyu was in sight. "You've been hiding someone here!"
She was the one who'd been with him from the start. Why? Why couldn't this blockhead see how she felt? Why did he have to go picking flowers outside?
Anything those other women could do… she… she could do too! Why did he need to go find someone else?!
"Hiding someone?" Mikoto's brows knit together, her voice turning sharp. "Excuse me, but get your facts straight. This is my home with Qianyu. I am his fiancée. And who are you, barging into our house without permission?"
'It's over.' Qianyu's heart sank. He knew it. He wasn't surviving this warzone.
"Fiancée?!"
Just as predicted, Tsunade erupted. Her golden hair seemed to float with her rage. She wanted to strangle him. No, worse.
She thought she'd been tolerant enough! She'd turned a blind eye to those… casual entanglements without any real status. But this? This brat had gone and gotten himself an actual fiancée?
"Qianyu, I'm gonna castrate you today!"
"Wait, Tsunade-hime, let me explain, I—"
"Qianyu, why explain anything to her?" Mikoto cut him off. She slid an arm around his waist, leaning possessively into his chest, and shot a challenging look at Tsunade across the room. "I am your fiancée, aren't I?"
She was still fuming. She was the official girlfriend here, and this woman had the gall to lecture her? She was the one wronged!
"You little—!" Tsunade's face darkened like a storm cloud. Staring at Mikoto's triumphant expression, a deep, primal sense of destiny stirred in her blood. The words were out before she could stop them, hissed through clenched teeth.
"Naturally wicked… Uchiha."
"Naturally domineering and unreasonable… Senju!" Mikoto fired back without missing a beat.
Whoosh. Whoosh. Whoosh.
The oppressive aura radiating from the two women intensified. Qianyu stood trapped between them, feeling needles on his back. Stuck.
Honestly? He'd rather go pick a fight with the so-called "Ōtsutsuki God" right now than stay here a second longer.
"Qianyu, you give me an explanation today, or we're through! Smashed mirror, broken hairpin!"
"That's right, Qianyu-kun. Just make things clear with her. Cut all ties. I know you can handle it."
"Get lost, you stray cat! I'm talking to Qianyu. Who gave you the right to interrupt?"
"You're the stray! I am the daughter of the Uchiha Grand Elder. My standing is far above a down-on-her-luck Senju princess like you."
"You bitch, I'll rip your mouth off, believe me!"
"Oh? You think I'm afraid? Eager to experience the exquisite taijutsu of the Uchiha clan? Let me tell you, Qianyu-kun learned his 'Shadow Dance Step' by watching me every day!"
"Qianyu!"
"Qianyu-kun!"
After their verbal duel, both women turned their expectant, demanding gazes on Qianyu, each willing him to take her side and put the other "stray woman" in her place.
"Tch. Bad news."
Just as they were about to force an ultimatum, Qianyu's expression shifted. "I have to go. Now."
"Qianyu, you bastard! Don't you dare run away with another excuse, or I'll never forgive you!" Tsunade roared.
"No, it's serious." Genuine panic edged into Qianyu's voice. "The chakra markers I left on Konan and the others… they've vanished!"
He'd placed protective measures on them. In theory, no one in the current shinobi world should pose a threat to Konan's group. Unless…!
A terrible suspicion solidified in Qianyu's mind.
"Why are you still causing a scene?" Mikoto scolded Tsunade. She then reached up, tenderly straightening Qianyu's collar, her eyes softening. "I believe you. Go, Qianyu-kun. Be careful. I'll be waiting for you… in our home."
"…Right."
Qianyu gave Mikoto a complicated nod, his eyes briefly meeting Tsunade's across the room. Then he was gone.
'Qianyu…'
As his figure vanished, Tsunade swallowed her words of concern. Her fury immediately refocused on Mikoto.
"You. Let's fight."
Tsunade rolled up her sleeves, cracking her knuckles, a dangerous glint in her eyes.
"Hmph. My thoughts exactly."
Mikoto elegantly tied up her long hair, securing her loose sleeves. She crooked a slender finger at Tsunade.
"After you… Senju Princess."
