I looked outside the window, it's past morning. Then I glanced at the clock, 13:36, less than 30 minutes left till lunch break. I took a piece of paper and started folding some origami, at first I fiddled around with different bends and before long I folded something that almost resembled a ball. But it was immediately squished down by a palm.
"Jevin, since you seem to be so free, I'll take this as you using up your lunch break time"
I looked at the man, he's my manager whose name I still couldn't remember if not for his nameplate, Brad Gerring, he's among the worse managers, since he's always in a foul mood and also an avid user of nepotism, so he's on barely competent side.
The man shot me a glare
"Want more work?"
I shook my head an sighed, going back to work, guess I'll have to pull another unpaid overtime. The manager is always like this, he pushes his work onto others, since thankfully he's at least aware of his incompetence, but this doesn't change the fact that he bosses everyone around like they're servants.
I got back to finishing my work, reviewing documents for any mistakes and underlining them possible mistake after it being fixed, be it grammatical or anything else. But since Gerring pushed more work onto me, after this I guess I'll have to do something like summarising how everyone was doing or something, at this point I couldn't care less, I've done my job so many times that I barely need to think.
I'm 27 and I haven't enjoyed life since I was 19, oh the irony of this world. At least I have a job.
Closing my eyes I refocused on my job-
I felt the ground trembling underneath me, suddenly alarms staring shouting out their terribly made sounds everywhere.
"It's an earthquake, proceed to the safe zones in an orderly manner"
I sighed, it seems I got a break.

I looked around and unhurriedly stood up, taking my stuff with me, my colleagues did the same, everyone who's worked here for more than a month without exception have eyebags, with that being the rest of their problems, myself included.
As everyone moved to the safezones, the sky started falling in the very literal sense of the word. I started at everything and left the route to the safezone, opting to leave the building through the fastest route.
I heard souts telling me to get back, but at this point I don't care if I get more work.
*BOOOOM* *BOOOOM* *Crash* *BOOOM*….
The eartquake started to intensify and as a consequence buildings started to collapse or parts of them just fell off or fell in.
As I finally got outside, I flashed my first smile this decade, maybe my time has come-

I opened my eyes out of surprise and stared at the hologram.
I tried touching it, but my fingers just passed through.
I looked around and everyone seemed to've gotten the screen.
And then the first people started to dissapear one by one, not killed, straight up dematerialised.
I noticed them typing on a manifested keyboard and once they finished, they were just gone.
I looked back at the screen.

I tried to remember my life, what I liked.
I smiled… yes, I always knew my calling, crafting is my passion, my calling and everything else that gave my life meaning, thus I will pursue it, so I typed in my wish.

As I pressed 'Enter' I was transported into a pure white space.
I looked around and slowly a stone floor was materialised, then I columns, walls, doors, signs, and lastly my body, I could finally see it and I was buck naked, not even something to cover my privates
*Sigh*
For now I decided to look at the signs
The first one said 'weapon smithing', the other said 'armor smithing', I walked right to the very end, I passed through all sorts of stuff, from what I tried before, like sewing or carpentry to more obscure crafts, like mirror making to downright mystical crafts, like runesmithing, or wand crafting.
At the end of the hallway was an empty room with an empty side, the inside was equally empty, but it was ever expanding, no matter how long I walked, I could find the other three walls of this room.
Then I noticed one thing, I don't feel hungry or thirsty, don't need to go to the toilet either, that means I can maximize my time here easily.
So I decided to walk back to where I first appeared and walked in right into 'clothmaking'
There I found further doors, each labeled with the following signs: 'weaving', 'making yarn', 'knitting', 'crocheting', 'felting', 'dyeing' and so on.
So I daringly went into through the 'weaving' door and a sign appeared to me

Well, ok, so I went to the 'making yarn' door and same thing

Suddenly I understood.
My wish was to master 'every' craft, key word 'every'
This means I have to also learn how to make stuff AND grow stuff, so the system probably decided to just give me all the info I need, but none of the tools.
I ran a hand through my hair in annoyance, I remember seeing 'harvesting' somewhere, I'll need to find that.
{some time later}
So I found the 'harvesting' door, went inside and saw a very long row of doors, with labels like 'harvesting wood', 'harvesting meat' and so on, found the 'harvesting fibers' and went inside and saw 2 doors, 'fiber from plants' and 'fiber from creatures'.
I went into the plant one, I remember trying to shear a sheep once to get wool, I never want to go through that again... Not that I have tools to even cut wool
After walking through the plant door I found another long list of doors with different labels, linen, cotton, hemp and another long row
So I picked blindly, nettle it is, once again, I walked inside and a long patch of grassland with a small lake nearby as well as a very big box labeled 'stinging nettle seeds', I opened it and saw different types of nettle
Though there is a small library inside, I walked there and read through the titles.
There were a lot, but very specific, like ‚how to prep stinging nettles to make into yarn', ‚how to grow stinging nettles' and so on, the library is full of them, but I noticed on thing, there is a roughly 10mx10m area, with some of it reserved for the bookshelf and the rest is empty, no tables, no chairs, nothing, just a cold, stone floor.
Suddenly, I heard a 'ping' and a prompt popped up

Well…I'll be in a rush for a while…150 hours is it, how long is that, around 6 days and a bit, not a lot of time, but I guess that'll make do. Guess for the next timespan I'll have to sleep on the floor, to maximise the 150 hours I'll get and not spend time wandering ailessly what to do.
The next problem is the 10000 hour satiety thingy. That's not as urgent, but I'll also try to rush securing food sources. It seems I only get get seeds for plants, don't know about animals though.

Slowly but surely, I felt the effect take as I felt better and better.
10 minutes later I felt like a new man, my frame straightened, hell, I feel like I could plow a field and I'd still have energy for a marathon, I lowered my hand to grab my phone to-
Oh right, I have no phone, I'll make one later.
I started running around, doing cartweels, failing, standing up, jumping, stretching, I feel too much energy, it was forcing me to do something
After fooling around, I started to run, somewhere, I counted how many breaths it took to run from one end of the hall to the other, I counted to 8897 breaths and then I collapsed, fuck my legs are trembling, guess I finally the energy rush ended.
I just lied there, the listening to my raging heartbeat and smiled widely, the widest smile ever. Maybe I can finally dream again.

Author note: this is a new book. For the beginning, I remember reading a book with a similar style, by that I mean that everyone received a chance to get all their wishes granted. For now, if you want fights, you won't get any, because its a training arc.
But I'll try to rush through since by now I know what happens when I get the chance to add detail (I run off researching in-depths about stuff related to what I decided to get detailed about, due to that I know more, but then after some time my wish to continue disappears equally fast)
By the way, if you ever see that the book has been last updated, like, 3 months ago or a year ago, or more, even if I don't inform you, the book is most likely dropped
Either way, hope my writing improved and I'm always open to suggestions.
