Tsuna spent hours sparring with Luci afterwards, honing the art of punching someone in the face. It was not as exciting as the previous battle, but it did do wonders for relaxing his mind.
He was sitting at the side of the area, drinking from a bottle of water as Luci massaged his back, saying teasing words that had him blushing.
Was it a bad thing that he was getting used to her nonsense?
He then let out a groan as she reached a particular tense spot.
"That it, become putty underneath my hands Master." Luci said with a light giggle as she kneaded his back.
The constant teasing was just a price he was going to have to pay for a massage.
It helped that she was really good at everything she did, including massages, apparently.
With his mood in a much better place, he finally felt okay rolling the three tickets he had collected. He put the bottle down and ripped one.
[Bottle of Infinite Lotion]
Common Item
A simple bottle of slimy lotion that contains an infinite amount of lotion inside. Lotion must be squeezed out manually, and trying to tamper with the bottle will simply break it.
He took a deep look at the item sitting in his hands before letting out a sigh. He knew silver tickets were not anything really special, but this just seemed like an insult. He could not even study it to find out an infinite enchantment, as any tampering would break it.
Luci then took the bottle from his hands.
"Oh, this is simply perfect timing, Master. It's not massage oil, but it should work well enough."
She said as she poured out some and put it on her hands. For a brief moment he contemplated Luci once more affecting his rolls for nonsense. Then she got back to massaging him, and he decided to ignore the massive influence she held.
He ripped another ticket as she got to work.
[Record]
Uncommon Ability
Trash Count – Allows you to record your sight into your mind. Recorded information is engraved in memory even better than photographic memory, as you can recall it in absolutely perfect detail at any time, as if you are actively thinking about it all the time.
He raised an eyebrow at this one. It was not anything that would help him long-term, but it would certainly help him in class. History was bound to be perfect here, and math should be easy with the formulas being engraved into his brain from now on.
This did not make him smarter; it just made it so he could store information perfectly.
Meh. It also added another count for his Abilities slots, so he was fine with it.
"I feel like I should be insulted that you are ignoring my skills in favour of ripping tickets, Master, but I can understand unlimited power over the pleasures of the flesh."
Tsuna just rolled his eyes and let out another groan of pleasure as she hit a nice spot.
He took out his final ticket and ripped it.
[Soul Arrow]
Common Ability
Darksouls – Draw energy from your life and soul and shape it as a weapon, taking the shape of a simple arrow projectile that can curve in the air towards targets. As the origin of the arrow is linked to the soul, its power scales with the might of one's soul in addition to their energy levels.
This one had him pausing. This ability was rated as a simple common, but it scaled, meaning it would always be useful. Besides…
He slotted it in and tried to form an arrow. His Sky Flames shot out of his hands and formed a burning arrow, as he expected. He grinned as he shifted the flames to Wrath ones. See, his soul was the Dying Will Flames; this skill amplified the base damage of an already impressive start.
This was a perfect draw for him.
"Oh, you seem awfully smug? I think the perfect draw was me, of course. I can teach you anything in this world, I can run a business to make you vast amounts of wealth, I'm a skilled combatant, and I am devastatingly beautiful and willing to do anything you ask of me. How can a stupid arrow compare to me?"
She complained lightly as she put pressure into her massage. It sounded like a joke, but he could hear a ring of a whine in it. She really was salty about being below an arrow in his mind. Hell, she probably really thought she was the best roll he had ever got.
She was wrong, of course. That trophy belonged to Hestia's blessing.
He felt her hands pause and pinch his flesh in irritation.
"That's not fair, Master. I'm clearly better than that prude. She is not even by your side, only watching from your soul like a voyeur. Do you think she is better because she is a maiden? 'Cause I'm one too. Lilith and I don't have the parts to change that."
She offered, and Tsuna felt a slight pulse in his stomach, but he ignored it, listening to Luci could only end in madness. She had told him to open a harem, and now she was trying to seduce him.
Luci just laughed, but she did pinch his back again.
"Fine, that prude can have the number one spot for now, but one day I will show you why I'm the best thing you ever rolled. I am the best at everything in the world, Master… and I mean *everything*."
She spoke in a breathy whisper, and Tsuna shivered.
He just remained silent and enjoyed her massage, letting her work the muscles in his back, and stopped thinking about the offer lying in her words.
Thankfully, he did not have to ignore her for very long. Hours had gone by at this point, and he had an appointment to keep.
Kyoko's brother wanted to spar.
It was not a major thing, and it was going to be boring in comparison to the last couple of hours but he was a man of his word. So that was where Tsuna was going to go.
With that thought, Luci stopped and pouted at him. He ignored that and got dressed, giving her a pointed look as she let out a huff.
The portal that had led him here opened up, and he was back at school. He started to walk towards the boxing club and had a sudden thought.
He had been in a terrible mood earlier, so he had ditched the rest of class. Hana and Kyoko might worry, but they would keep their worries to themselves until they saw him the next day—or more likely, show up to the scheduled sparring.
Hayato, on the other hand… that guy would go crazy without Tsuna around. In his eyes, someone had finally accepted him into their familia, and the moment that happened, he had lost track of his own boss and could not find a trace of him.
Tsuna honestly wondered if the classroom was still intact or if it had been bombed into oblivion.
He took a brief look around. Students were leaving at a regular pace, so school should have kept going. Maybe he had sulked all day? Whatever. Tsuna could find out later.
He walked towards the boxing club and could already hear the loud excitement from Ryohei. Tsuna opened the door to the club and was greeted with the sight of Ryohei sending combo punches into the sandbag with enough force that regular people would go green.
It was not the steel-tearing strength of Luci, nor the overwhelming force that Reborn had shown, but it was impressive for someone not in the supernatural world.
Ryohei turned towards the door as soon as it opened. His eyes went wide, and a cheery smile expanded.
"IT IS EXTREMELY NICE TO SEE YOU, TSUNA-KUN! I'M EXTREMELY READY FOR OUR MATCH!"
Tsuna found himself smiling in return despite the noise. The positive energy he was capable of was just too infectious.
"Glad to know that, Senpai. I'm looking forward to our spar."
He spoke out simply. Tsuna hoped Ryohei did not take his loss to heart. It was only natural to lose to someone with supernatural abilities.
Before either of them could go to the ring to box, the door once more slammed open, and a child stumbled in, pale and frightened, holding a book tightly against their chest. Limp brown hair was plastered to their skin from sweat, and wide brown eyes searched desperately.
Those eyes locked onto Tsuna.
"Tsunayoshi Sawada, you are ranked as the number one person who can save me in this city. Please, I need your help!"
The boy's plea rang out, but before Tsuna could say anything, a large hand gripped the boy's head and picked him up. The man had black spiky hair and was wearing a school uniform even though he was clearly an adult. Beyond that, he was muscular, had two scars on his chin, and dead, almost baggy eyes that glared at Tsuna fiercely.
"If you know what's good for you, you will mind your own business. We already got your friends captured. So—"
The man did not even finish his sentence before Tsuna's own hand wrapped around his face, and bright flames flickered around his head—a threat that he fully intended on enforcing depending on this man's answers.
"Explain now!"
Tsuna snarled, killing intent boiling off of him.
