Chapter 147: Could There Really Be a ghost ship?
While everyone was in the middle of their stories, Aoba suddenly pointed out the window and shouted, "L-Look! A ghost ship! A ghost ship!"
Hearing this, everyone rushed to the window to look out.
They saw a massive ship slowly approaching, completely empty as if it were indeed a ghost ship.
"Is... is this for real?" Naruto looked at the ghost ship before him, his face full of surprise.
He didn't know if it was real. Could there really be ghost ships in this world?
"Let's go take a look," Yamato suggested to Naruto.
He knew that if they didn't figure out the situation with this ship, they might be stuck here forever.
So, Yamato, Naruto, and Aoba boarded the ship to search it.
Shortly after boarding, they encountered a young Boatman.
"Who are you? Why are you here?" The young Boatman looked at Naruto and the others with a wary expression.
He didn't know who Naruto and the others were or why they were there.
"We are Ninjas from Konoha, here on a mission," Naruto explained to the boy. "Who are you? Why are you here?"
"I am Hishaku, the Boatman of this ship," the young boy told Naruto. "This ship has been abandoned for a long time. I don't know why it suddenly appeared here either."
"What?" Naruto was surprised.
He didn't know why this ship would suddenly appear. Was someone manipulating it from the shadows?
Just then, a loud cannon blast rang out, and the entire ship began to shake.
"Oh no! We're under attack!" Yamato looked at the scene before him with a look of alarm.
He didn't know who was attacking them, but he knew they had to leave as quickly as possible.
"Quick! Let's get out of here!" Naruto was also terrified by the sight.
He didn't know if the cannonballs would hurt them, but he knew they had to escape immediately.
Upon hearing this, Yamato immediately used Wood Release to create a makeshift Submarine, taking Naruto and Aoba down into the sea.
Shortly after they submerged, a massive explosion sounded, and the entire surface of the sea vibrated.
"These pirates are far too brazen!" Yamato said angrily at the sight.
He didn't know why these pirates were attacking them, but he knew they had to find a way out quickly.
And so, they began searching for an exit underwater.
Finally, they found an opening in an underwater cave.
Not long after entering the cave, they saw a shocking sight.
The cave was piled high with various treasures and weapons, along with several imprisoned people.
"Who are these people? Why are they here?" Naruto asked in surprise.
He didn't know who they were or why they were being held there.
"These people are all captives taken by the pirates," Yamato explained. "These pirates often run rampant in the nearby waters, plundering the riches and taking prisoners from passing ships."
"What?" Naruto was filled with rage.
He didn't know why these pirates would do such a thing, but he knew they had to rescue the hostages immediately.
Just then, a massive tremor struck, and the entire cave began to tremble.
"Not good! This cave is going to collapse!" Yamato cried out in alarm.
He didn't know why the cave was suddenly collapsing, but he knew they had to leave at once.
Thus, they quickly left the cave, taking the hostages and the treasure with them.
Just after they escaped the cave, a massive roar sounded, and the entire island began to shake.
"This island is sinking!" Yamato looked at the scene in horror.
He didn't know why the island was suddenly sinking, but he knew they had to get away fast.
At that moment, a massive current surged toward them, sweeping them into the depths of the sea.
When they woke up, they found themselves washed up on a deserted island.
Meanwhile, the seasick Guy had been carried off by a giant bird; following the direction the giant bird flew, they also arrived at this small island.
"Where is this?" Naruto looked around, puzzled.
He didn't know where they were or how they had ended up drifting here.
"We need to find Guy-sensei as soon as possible." Aoba's expression was grave as he surveyed the island.
Right then, Aoba suddenly saw a mysterious woman standing not far away.
"Who are you?" Aoba looked at the mysterious woman with a wary expression.
He didn't know who she was or why she was here.
"I am the guardian of this island," the mysterious woman said with a smile. "You were washed here by the currents, weren't you?"
"Yes," Aoba nodded. "Do you know where this is?"
"This is a cursed island," the mysterious woman said to Aoba. "A terrifying secret is hidden here."
"What secret?" Aoba asked in surprise.
He didn't know what the secret was, but he knew they had to uncover the truth.
"This secret is..." Just as the mysterious woman was about to speak, she suddenly vanished.
"Where did she go?" Aoba was stunned by the sight.
He didn't know why she had suddenly disappeared, but he knew they had to find her quickly.
So, they began searching the island for the mysterious woman's whereabouts.
On the other side, Guy and Lee had been carried by the giant bird into a mysterious mountain cave.
Guy and Lee were master and disciple, and their bond was extremely close.
Once, when Lee finally mastered the ultimate technique Guy had taught him, the Hidden Lotus, Guy was so happy that he decided to hold a celebration for just the two of them.
They had many drinks and talked a lot in a small shop.
However, Guy had drunk too much; by the next morning, he only remembered fragments of what happened, and Lee had also completely forgotten the previous night.
To recall what happened that night, they began all sorts of visualization training.
Guy thought about the scene of him and Lee drinking in the shop, the scene of him teaching Lee the Hidden Lotus, and the scene of them celebrating... However, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't remember everything that happened.
"Guy-sensei, what's wrong?" Lee looked at Guy, puzzled.
He didn't know what Guy was thinking about, nor did he know what had happened the previous night.
"It's nothing, Lee," Guy smiled at him. "It's time for us to continue our training."
With that, Guy took Lee and began a new day of training.
They didn't know that a terrifying secret was hidden in this cave, one that would change their fates.
After many adventures, Naruto and his companions finally defeated the pirates, rescued the imprisoned hostages, and successfully returned to Konoha Village.
