"Oh my, how extraordinary," Whis remarked from the sidelines. "Mr. Goku has perfectly fused his raw energy and divine power together."
"I certainly underestimated you!" Beerus said, a smirk touching his lips as a look of anticipation filled his eyes.
"Well then, I'm coming at you, Lord Beerus," Son Goku said with a smile.
Beerus nodded. Though he appeared calm on the surface, he had actually heightened his alertness. He could clearly sense that Son Goku's current transformation was far more complex than it appeared.
Whoosh!
Son Goku streaked toward Beerus and threw a direct punch. There were no flashy movements or feints—just a simple, straightforward strike. Beerus didn't bother to dodge; instead, he raised his hand to catch the fist.
THUD!
The moment Son Goku's fist collided with Beerus's hand, their energies clashed, erupting in a massive shockwave. The resulting blast sent the unconscious Vegeta and Fat Buu soaring hundreds of meters into the air before they crashed back down. Even Broly found himself skidding backward, his feet carving ten-meter trenches into the ground. Only Whis remained perfectly still, as if the shockwave hadn't affected him in the slightest.
After the initial collision, Son Goku paused for a brief second, an even more excited expression spreading across his face.
THUD! THUD! THUD!
Son Goku launched a rapid-fire assault, his fists raining down on Beerus like a torrential downpour. Beerus moved his hands with blinding speed, blocking every single punch.
"You're fast! Stronger than I imagined!" Beerus offered his evaluation. "In fact, your current strength has already surpassed that of your ancestor, Simoya."
Son Goku said nothing, instead further increasing the tempo of his attacks.
"However, you're still a long way from reaching my level," Beerus snorted. He suddenly delivered a powerful kick toward Son Goku.
Flash!
Son Goku vanished instantly and reappeared behind Beerus at incredible speed. Beerus's kick hit nothing but air, leaving him slightly shocked. But he quickly sensed Son Goku behind him, and a faint smirk played on his lips.
Son Goku swung a punch. Beerus was faster, delivering an elbow strike that slammed directly into Son Goku's chest. Son Goku's body arched back as he was sent sailing. Beerus pursued him instantly, delivering a mid-air kick that connected once more.
BOOM!
Son Goku's body slammed into the ground below, leaving a bottomless crater in the earth. Beerus hovered above the pit, looking down at the fallen Saiyan with a smile.
"Hurry up and get back here! Fighting you is actually fun!" Beerus said. "I know an attack of that level won't do a thing to you."
At the bottom of the crater...
Son Goku stood in the darkness, rubbing his chin as he fell into thought. As expected of Lord Beerus. He's incredible. Does he track movements with his eyes, just like Frieza did? Should I try that trick I used against Frieza? But he's a god... it probably won't work, right? Well, let's give it a shot. It might do something.
Son Goku immediately condensed two fireballs in his hands. He then controlled one of them, sending it soaring up out of the pit.
"Get up here! I don't have time to play games with you!" Beerus said, growing a bit impatient. "If you keep dragging your feet, I'm going to erase this Broly fellow."
Broly: "..."
The two of you are fighting—what does that have to do with me? Leave me out of this!
Whoosh!
As they spoke, a fiery red orb of light shot out from the crater. Beerus glanced at the light, his brow furrowing slightly. What is this thing? Are you trying to attack me with a ball of fire? The problem is... this thing looks pathetic. It has no power and no speed.
Beerus didn't understand what Goku was doing, so he simply swatted the fireball away, shattering it into sparks.
"Son Goku, what are you doing?" Beerus couldn't help but shout.
But as soon as the words left his mouth, another fireball rose from the ground.
"Hmph," Beerus snorted. With a wave of his hand, he extinguished the second fireball instantly.
"Hehe! Over here!" Son Goku suddenly appeared high in the air, delivering a kick toward the back of Beerus's head.
Just as it looked like the strike would land, Beerus shifted his body slightly, effortlessly dodging the kick.
THUD!
Beerus delivered a palm strike to Son Goku's chest. Goku winced in pain.
THUD!
Beerus followed up with a kick that sent Son Goku plummeting from the sky. With a dull thud, Goku's body slammed into the earth and tumbled for thousands of meters before finally coming to a halt.
Beerus pursued him, seemingly enjoying the sight of Son Goku tumbling across the landscape.
"Well? Had enough?" Beerus asked with a smile, studying Son Goku with interest.
Son Goku leaped to his feet and patted the dust off his clothes, letting out a series of sighs. Seeing Goku unharmed didn't surprise Beerus at all; he had expected as much. After all, in terms of raw power, Son Goku's current transformation was already quite close to his own. It was hard to believe such a powerful figure existed among mortals.
"Not bad. You really are stronger than I thought," Beerus chuckled. "In hundreds of millions of years, you're the first mortal whose strength is actually comparable to a God of Destruction. If you were in any other universe, you'd be able to crush their God of Destruction with ease!"
"My strength has already surpassed the Gods of Destruction of other universes?" Son Goku blinked, rubbing his head.
"That's right," Beerus nodded.
"Which ones have I surpassed?" Son Goku couldn't help but ask.
"The God of Destruction of Universe 4," Beerus answered.
"Oh, so I've only surpassed the one from Universe 4," Son Goku said, nodding thoughtfully.
"No," Beerus shook his head.
Son Goku blinked again, confused by what Beerus meant.
"What I mean is, aside from myself and the God of Destruction of Universe 4, your current strength has already surpassed every other God of Destruction in the multiverse," Beerus said with a smile.
"What? Really?" Son Goku scratched his head sheepishly. He couldn't help but ask, "Is the God of Destruction of Universe 4 really that strong too?"
"He is strong, but he's still a long way from my level," Beerus said with a confident smile.
"So, Lord Beerus is the strongest of all the Gods of Destruction in every universe?" Son Goku finally understood.
"Exactly. I like the way you put that," Beerus said, his smirk widening as he felt quite satisfied with Goku's attitude.
"That's incredible, Lord Beerus!" Son Goku nodded fervently, looking at Beerus with a gaze full of admiration.
Seeing that look of worship in Goku's eyes, Beerus felt even more gratified.
"Let's keep going, Lord Beerus," Son Goku said, his excitement reaching a new peak.
"Of course," Beerus grinned.
Son Goku charged at Beerus again, launching a fierce assault. Beerus's expression grew much more serious; he didn't dare to be careless anymore. Son Goku's strength was simply too great. If he were to lose to a mortal, it would be an utter embarrassment for a God of Destruction.
The two of them fought for a full ten minutes. Surprisingly, as the battle progressed, Son Goku actually began to gain a slight upper hand. It was Beerus who was starting to find it difficult to keep up.
THUD!
Son Goku threw a powerful punch. Beerus raised his hand to catch it, but the force sent him skidding backward. Son Goku didn't follow up with another attack; instead, he stopped immediately.
"What's wrong? That was the perfect chance to keep the pressure on. Why did you stop?" Beerus asked with a smile.
"Lord Beerus hasn't shown his true power yet, has he?" Son Goku asked, looking at Beerus with a serious expression.
Beerus: "..."
He remained silent for a moment.
"Just as I thought," Son Goku sighed.
In the distance, Broly's lip twitched. This Beerus fellow still hasn't shown his true power? Son Goku has already reached Super Saiyan 6, and yet he only has a tiny advantage over him. Gods of Destruction really are something else!
"Lord Beerus, why don't you show me your true power? I want to know just how strong you really are," Son Goku said, his interest piqued.
"By the way, how long can you maintain this state?" Beerus suddenly asked.
"This state? Super Saiyan 6?" Son Goku blinked.
Beerus nodded.
"Well... I've never really tested it, but fighting you for another three hours shouldn't be a problem," Son Goku mused.
Beerus's eyes widened in shock. This kid can maintain this state for that long? Even Whis, watching from the side, looked slightly surprised. If I had known this Son Goku was this strong, I should have brought Merus along. I think Merus would have really liked this man. They seem to have a similar temperament. Should I contact him now? Or wait a bit longer? Whis thought for a moment but ultimately decided not to contact Merus just yet.
"Very well. I'll show you my true strength now," Beerus said, a confident smirk spreading across his face.
Flash!
A purple-red aura suddenly erupted around Beerus. An infinite wave of Destruction energy radiated from his body. Even though Son Goku couldn't accurately sense Beerus's divine power, seeing him in this state told him there was still a significant gap between them.
"Are you ready, Son Goku?" Beerus asked with a slight smile.
Son Goku immediately dropped into a fighting stance.
Flash!
Beerus vanished and reappeared directly in front of Son Goku at incredible speed.
THUD!
Beerus delivered an uppercut that slammed into Son Goku, sending him flying upward. Goku winced in pain.
Flash!
Beerus pursued him, continuing his assault. Son Goku was sent sailing backward repeatedly. Beerus flickered around the battlefield, appearing behind Son Goku and delivering a sharp palm strike. Goku was hit again, his body sent tumbling. Beerus caught up once more, appearing behind Goku and preparing to throw another punch.
Snap!
Son Goku performed a graceful mid-air turn and delivered a powerful kick that caught Beerus squarely in the cheek. Beerus froze, a look of utter bewilderment on his face. This kid can still counterattack? You've got to be kidding me!
"Kamehameha!" Son Goku condensed energy between his hands and unleashed a powerful beam.
Beerus raised a hand and caught the blast.
"This kind of thing won't work on me," Beerus chuckled. He squeezed his hand, crushing the Kamehameha into nothingness.
Son Goku nodded slightly.
"Try this," Beerus said, condensing a sphere of purple-red energy.
Whoosh!
The point of purple-red energy streaked toward Son Goku at incredible speed.
"This is Destruction energy. You'd better be careful, or you'll be erased," Beerus offered a kind warning. This was the first time he had ever met such an interesting mortal. He genuinely found Son Goku to be a fascinating man. It would be a shame to destroy him.
Seeing the Destruction energy flying toward him, Son Goku was startled and prepared himself carefully.
Snap!
Son Goku didn't dodge. Instead, he carefully caught the Destruction energy in his hands. He studied the energy Beerus had released with a look of deep admiration. "As expected of Lord Beerus! This Destruction energy is tens of thousands of times more powerful than the version Vegeta uses!"
Beerus looked at Son Goku in surprise as he caught the energy. This kid really is something else. He can even catch Destruction energy. I feel like he's only one step away from becoming a true god.
"Hmph. Don't compare a true god to a mortal like Vegeta," Beerus snorted, rolling his eyes.
Son Goku quickly tossed the Destruction energy high into the air. In truth, Beerus hadn't been serious; if he had truly intended to erase Goku, the Saiyan might not have been able to catch it so easily.
Flash!
Beerus appeared directly in front of Son Goku and delivered another palm strike. Son Goku fell from the sky, stumbling back several steps upon landing. He braced his right leg behind him to finally come to a stop.
"Well? Have you shown me your true power yet? Or do you have an even stronger transformation?" Beerus asked with a smile.
"Lord Beerus, I've already reached Super Saiyan 6... where would I get an even stronger transformation than this?" Son Goku scratched his head, caught between a laugh and a cry.
"Fair point," Beerus nodded, feeling that Goku's logic was sound. For a mortal to reach this height was already an incredible achievement. After all, Son Goku's current strength had long since surpassed many of the Gods of Destruction. He was just unlucky to have been born in Universe 7. I am, after all, the strongest God of Destruction in the multiverse.
"Since this is your strongest form, you might as well surrender now," Beerus snorted.
"Alright, I surrender," Son Goku nodded, giving up voluntarily.
Beerus: "..."
He was momentarily speechless, unsure of how to react. Wait, I only told you to surrender to provoke you. Why did you actually do it?
Flash!
As soon as he spoke, Son Goku reverted to his base form. Beerus was completely silenced. I wasn't finished playing yet! Why did you change back?
"You..." Three veins bulged on Beerus' forehead, his face darkening. "Why are you surrendering? Don't you Saiyans usually refuse to give up so easily?"
"I'm simply no match for you, Lord Beerus. If I keep fighting, I'll only end up losing even more miserably," Goku replied, scratching his head.
Beerus fell silent again. This kid's emotional intelligence is quite high. His analysis is perfectly logical.
"Still, I haven't had my fill yet. You surrendering like this is a real buzzkill," Beerus said with a stern face, urging him, "Hurry up and transform again. Fight me for a while longer."
Goku was speechless.
"This is like quitting a game of chess halfway through when you still have plenty of pieces left. It's incredibly disappointing," Beerus huffed, sounding quite annoyed.
"If you really want to fight, Lord Beerus, I have an even stronger opponent for you. Would you like to give them a try?" Goku thought for a moment and suggested.
"An even stronger opponent? Who?" Beerus froze, a hint of shock crossing his face. Is there actually a human more powerful than Goku? How is that possible?
"Then please wait just a moment, Lord Beerus," Goku grinned.
"Fine. I'll wait for you here. Make it quick," Beerus said, his interest suddenly piqued.
Is there really a human more powerful than Goku? What kind of person could it be? If such a human exists, has their strength already surpassed mine? Beerus was actually starting to look forward to it.
With a blur of motion, Goku appeared beside Broly. Broly blinked in surprise. Whis also turned his gaze toward them, his expression remaining calm.

The Sacred World of the Kai:
Watching the battle between Beerus and Goku, the Supreme Kai and Kibito were filled with awe and shock. On one hand, they were stunned by Beerus' immense power; on the other, they were terrified by how formidable Goku had become. Beerus was strong, but Goku was already closing the gap. If Goku continued to train, the day might actually come when he surpassed Beerus.
"So, Ancestor, has Goku actually surpassed Lord Beerus yet?" The Supreme Kai was dying to know and couldn't help but ask the Old Kai.
"Do you even need to ask? Of course not," the Old Kai replied decisively, shaking his head. He paused. "But I think if Goku is given more time, he really might surpass Lord Beerus one day," he added with a sigh of admiration.
"Goku said there's someone even stronger than him. Who could it be?" Kibito asked curiously.
"Could it be Gohan?" the Supreme Kai's eyes lit up.
The Old Kai pointed toward a lower patch of ground nearby and gestured to the Supreme Kai. "Go stand over there for a second!"
The Supreme Kai froze for a moment, then immediately shook his head in refusal.
"What? Are you disobeying me now?" the Old Kai asked, his face darkening.
"You want me to stand there just so you can hit me on the head, don't you?" the Supreme Kai said, immediately covering his head with his hands.
"Hmph, you've actually learned a thing or two!" the Old Kai huffed.
"Haha... I am constantly learning, after all," the Supreme Kai laughed.
WHAM!
The Old Kai jumped up anyway and delivered a heavy blow to the Supreme Kai's head. A massive bump immediately swelled up.
I got hit again! Ancestor, can we please stop with the physical violence?
"That felt good," the Old Kai said, rubbing his fist with a satisfied smile.
The Supreme Kai clutched the swelling bump, tears nearly welling up from the pain. "Ancestor, what did I say wrong this time?" he asked, utterly bewildered.
"You idiot! While Gohan is strong, there's still a gap between him and Goku," the Old Kai scolded, his spittle flying into the Supreme Kai's face. "Even if Gohan went over there, how could he possibly be a match for Lord Beerus?"
"Then... who is this person Goku mentioned?" the Supreme Kai asked, puzzled.
"Kakaroly," the Old Kai said, revealing the name.
The Supreme Kai's expression went blank, unable to process the name. Kibito was also stunned, looking momentarily lost.
Who is Kakaroly? I've never heard of him.
"Just watch... perhaps, this time, they really can win," the Old Kai said with a long, drawn-out sigh.
"Kakaroly?" the Supreme Kai was still dazed.
Back at the Battle:
Goku had moved close to Broly and gave him a wide grin. Broly seemed to realize something and nodded firmly.
"It looks like we have no choice but to use that method," Goku said with a smile, looking at Broly with anticipation.
"Okay," Broly replied, offering no objection.
"Lord Beerus, please wait just a second. We'll be ready in a moment," Goku waved to Beerus in the distance.
"We?" Beerus blinked. "What? Are you two planning to team up against me? Fine, bring it on! Even if you join forces, you're still no match for me."
Goku didn't say another word. He and Broly stepped back to create some distance between them. Both took a deep breath. Then, they extended their arms outward.
A moment later, Goku and Broly began to move toward each other in a rhythmic sequence. When they were exactly one person's width apart, they stopped simultaneously and extended their index fingers.
Their fingertips met.
"FU-SION!"
FLASH!
Goku and Broly's bodies overlapped, gradually merging into one. Beerus' expression froze, a look of genuine surprise appearing in his eyes.
"Oh my, isn't that the Fusion technique of the Metamorans?" Whis recognized it instantly and spoke up casually.
"I see," Beerus said, realization dawning on him.
By the time he looked again, Goku and Broly had completely finished the fusion, becoming a Saiyan with a brand-new appearance. This person shared features of both Goku and Broly, with hair standing tall, very similar to Goku's Super Saiyan hairstyle.
