Synopsis
Story of: Dragon Ball: Saiyan Transformation Era When the mysterious program "Saiyan Transformation Inventory" traveled through time and space and descended to every corner of the Dragon Ball world, all life forms could not help but hold their breath and stare. This is an unprecedented spectacle. The potential and evolution of the Saiyans are made public to the entire universe. The revelation of each form is a subversion and transcendence of traditional cognition. First and foremost, the "Super Saiyan Four" made a shocking appearance with a red body and bulging muscles. It is not only a symbol of power, but also the most intuitive interpretation of the word "invincible". The world was shocked to find that the Saiyan body could carry a power beyond the gods. From then on, the legend of "there are people above the gods" spread like wildfire. The subsequent "Super Saiyan God" form, with its blue aura surrounding its body like the halo of a god, showed that the Saiyans had entered the realm of the gods and challenged the boundaries between ordinary and holy. This incident not only plunged the entire universe into deep thought, but also ignited the flame of pursuing infinite possibilities in the hearts of Saiyans. As the more shocking forms such as [Super Saiyan Five], [Legendary Super Saiyan], [Ultra-Perfect Self-Instinct], and [Ultra-Self-Instinct] are revealed one by one, the true face of the Saiyans gradually becomes clear - they are a race with unlimited potential and constantly breaking through themselves. Every transformation is a recasting of the limit and a reshaping of the order of the universe.

Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1

Deep in the universe, the stars shimmer like the scattered fragments of destroyed planets, and a new chapter in the world of Dragon Ball quietly unfolds set in the vast cosmos once ruled by Frieza and later shaken by the terror of Cell.

On what seemed like an ordinary day in Universe 7, a mysterious program known as the [Saiyan Transformation Inventory] descended as if guided by fate itself. It crossed the barriers of time and space much like the Time Machine created by Bulma in the Android timeline, illuminating every battlefield from Planet Namek to the ruined cities of the Android conflict. Its light awakened the dormant blood of the Saiyans—the warrior race once annihilated by Frieza and stirred the fighting instincts buried deep within Goku, Vegeta, and even the hybrid Saiyans.

This was a historic moment. For the first time since the events of the Dragon Ball Z Cell Games, the universe would witness the full evolutionary path of Saiyan power. Each transformation displayed beginning with the legendary Super Saiyan first awakened by Goku on Planet Namek after Krillin's death, followed by Ascended Super Saiyan achieved by Vegeta in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, and culminating in Super Saiyan 2 first mastered by Gohan shattered previously accepted limits.

Before this revelation, Earth's heroes had already endured catastrophic threats. Frieza's shadow had not fully faded despite his defeat on Namek and his later return as Mecha Frieza, only to be effortlessly eliminated by Future Trunks. Yet an even more horrifying existence emerged: Cell, the bio-android created by Dr. Gero's supercomputer using the cells of Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Frieza, and King Cold. Designed to achieve perfection by absorbing Androids 17 and 18, Cell embodied the genetic culmination of the strongest warriors.

His very existence mocked natural life. Yet deep within his composed exterior burned a relentless desire to surpass Goku and prove that his "perfect form" stood above all Saiyans.

Everything changed with the broadcast of the [Saiyan Transformation Inventory].

At the moment it aired, time itself felt distorted, as if King Kai's planet trembled once more. The program displayed the critical moments of Saiyan evolution: Goku's first Super Saiyan transformation on Namek; Vegeta's prideful breakthrough inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber; the explosive rage of young Gohan during the Cell Games when Android 16's destruction triggered his ascension into Super Saiyan 2.

For Cell, this was not mere spectacle, it was humiliation relived.

He remembered it clearly. During the Cell Games, he had confidently allowed Gohan to unleash his hidden power, believing no one could rival his perfect body. Yet when Gohan transformed into Super Saiyan 2 lightning crackling around him, hair sharper and aura fiercer Cell felt fear for the first time.

"Gohan was only nine years old," Cell roared in fury, recalling the battlefield where the Z Fighters watched in disbelief.

At that time, Gohan's rage eclipsed even his father's power. With a single arm shattered after protecting Vegeta from Cell's desperate attack, Gohan still gathered energy alongside Goku's spirit in the afterlife. Their father-son Kamehameha overwhelmed Cell's Solar Kamehameha, completely disintegrating him.

That defeat was not simply death, it was proof that perfection was inferior to potential.

Frieza, observing this through the mysterious broadcast, struggled to understand Cell's outrage. From Frieza's perspective, revenge and domination were everything. But Cell's fury was different. He was enraged not because Gohan killed him but because the warrior who once surpassed him later grew weaker in peacetime, neglecting his training as shown in the Resurrection F arc.

To Cell, that decline was the true insult.

Meanwhile, within the remnants of Frieza's army, unrest brewed. Soldiers like Tagoma (Tagema) and Sorbet (Solbe) argued fiercely. Historically, Tagoma endured brutal training under Frieza for four months after Frieza's resurrection a period that transformed Frieza into his Golden form. Tagoma's strength increased dramatically during that time, enough to overwhelm Piccolo with ease.

Sorbet could not comprehend Tagoma's arrogance, especially when he attacked allies like Shisami (Sisamy), one of the army's stronger fighters. But Tagoma's mentality had shifted under relentless torture-training from Frieza, mirroring how Goku's gravity training on his way to Namek sharpened his battle instincts.

Back on Earth in the video's timeline, Gohan having grown complacent due to scholarly pursuits was critically wounded protecting Piccolo from Frieza's forces. Fortunately, Krillin carried Senzu Beans provided by Korin, just as during previous battles against Vegeta and Cell. After consuming one, Gohan's injuries healed instantly, restoring his stamina.

Yet even restored, his base strength had diminished compared to his teenage prime.

Piccolo, once fused with Kami and significantly stronger during the Android Saga, attempted to confront Tagoma but was swiftly defeated. Tagoma boasted that enduring daily beatings from Frieza for four months had forged a body tougher than steel an echo of how Saiyans grow stronger after surviving near-death experiences, known as Zenkai boosts.

Then, a sudden presence descended from the sky.

Golden aura blazing, hair upright the fusion warrior Gotenks appeared in Super Saiyan form. Created through the Fusion Dance taught by Metamoran techniques, Gotenks combined the power of Goten and Trunks, previously using moves like the Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack against Majin Buu.

With comedic flair but overwhelming confidence, Gotenks launched a sudden strike at Tagoma an attack delivered with childish bravado yet carrying the strength of two Saiyan prodigies.

The battlefield shifted once again.

In the distance, on Beerus' planet within the Sacred World of the Kai, Goku and Vegeta who had trained under Whis after the Battle of Gods observed with intensity. Vegeta, remembering how he first surpassed Super Saiyan to achieve Super Vegeta in the Time Chamber, clenched his fists. Goku, ever eager for stronger opponents, wondered how events would unfold.

Across time and space, one truth became undeniable:

Saiyan evolution had never truly stopped.

From the golden rage on Namek…

to the lightning-wreathed fury of the Cell Games…

to the divine realms reached through godly ki

The blood of the Saiyans continued to defy destiny itself.

For a moment, countless beings across Universe 7 who were watching the broadcast felt a chill run down their spines. Many subconsciously covered their lower bodies with their hands. Even without sensing ki, they could imagine the pain of that strike.

In the video, Tagoma's distorted expression said everything.

It was excruciating.

After Gotenks' sudden upward kick delivered with the exaggerated flair he once used against Majin Buu Tagoma collapsed to the ground screaming. Veins bulged across his forehead, and his aura flickered violently. This was the same Tagoma who had endured months of brutal sparring as the living punching bag for Frieza during the four months of resurrection training that allowed Frieza to attain his Golden form. Yet even he could not ignore such a precise blow.

Gotenks landed lightly, boots touching the ground with confidence. Just like during his dramatic entrance in the battle at Kami's Lookout years ago, he struck a flamboyant pose and turned toward the others, flashing a cheerful "yeah!" gesture.

Sacred World of the Kai, Universe 7.

"Who is this?!" Vegeta frowned deeply.

He had expected either himself or Kakarot to descend. After all, during the Resurrection F incident in the original timeline, it was he and Goku who confronted Frieza after training under Whis. But this warrior though unfamiliar radiated a strangely recognizable Saiyan presence.

There was something about the ki signature… something blended.

"Hahaha! This!" Goku laughed brightly. "Isn't this a warrior born from Metamoran fusion?"

He recognized it instantly.

The black-and-yellow vest, white pants, and blue sash were unmistakable the traditional attire of the Metamorans, the alien race that perfected the Fusion Dance technique he had learned while dead in Other World after the Cell Games.

"You know this?!" Vegeta turned sharply.

"Yeah," Goku nodded, eyes fixed on the screen. "If I'm not mistaken… that's the fusion of Goten and Trunks!"

Years earlier, during the crisis against Majin Buu, Goku had indeed taught the Fusion Dance to his son Son Goten and Vegeta's son Trunks inside the Room of Spirit and Time. Their fusion had produced Gotenks, who could transform not only into Super Saiyan but even into Super Saiyan 3 though the form drained time rapidly.

"What?!" Vegeta's eyes widened. "Kakarot, you're saying that's our sons merged together?"

"Yes!" Goku grinned confidently. "Keep watching. I'm sure."

Vegeta fell silent, but he could not deny it. The hair sharp like Trunks', yet black at the base like Goten's. The combined facial structure. And most importantly, the golden aura of Super Saiyan. Only a Saiyan hybrid could radiate that energy.

On Earth, Bulma, Gohan, and the others were equally stunned.

Bulma narrowed her eyes. "Why is that kid transforming into a Super Saiyan?"

Yet unlike earlier battles like when Gohan first exploded into Super Saiyan 2 against Cell they did not panic. They trusted the screen to reveal the truth.

In the video, the answer came quickly.

"Trunks?! Goten?!" Gohan exclaimed in disbelief.

How had these two children arrived here? And that strike just now—it carried far more power than either boy possessed individually during the Buu Saga.

"What are you two doing here?!" Bulma demanded angrily. She remembered all too well how dangerous Frieza was the tyrant who had slaughtered the Saiyans and nearly destroyed Earth twice.

"Need I explain?" Gotenks replied arrogantly, hands on his hips. "You guys were having fun without telling us!"

"Fun?!" Bulma was speechless. Frieza hovering overhead was not "fun."

"There's no time!" she shouted. "You're no match for Frieza! Go back!"

But Gotenks smirked, wagging his finger exactly as he once did before using the Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Did you forget?" he declared proudly. "Super Saiyan Gotenks is invincible!"

He pointed dramatically at Frieza floating above.

"So you're the boss? Fine! Let me, the mighty Gotenks, take you on"

A flash of white light interrupted him.

In the next second, the fusion split apart.

The Metamoran technique required perfect synchronization of movement and equal power levels, and its time limit was only thirty minutes less if excessive energy was consumed. Having already transformed into Super Saiyan, the timer expired rapidly.

"Oh no! Time's up!!" Goten and Trunks cried simultaneously as they separated.

On Earth, everyone gasped.

"Hey! That's Goten and Trunks!" Krillin laughed in realization. "I bet Goku learned that somewhere strange and taught it to them!"

It made sense. Goku had learned the Kaio-ken and Spirit Bomb from King Kai, Instant Transmission from Yardrat, and now the Fusion Dance from the Metamorans in Other World. Teaching it to the boys during the Majin Buu crisis had been consistent with his desire to prepare the next generation.

Sacred World of the Kai.

"So it's true," Vegeta muttered, crossing his arms. "My son fused with yours."

He glanced at Goku. "Explain this fusion properly."

Whis smiled knowingly. "The Metamoran Fusion Dance requires identical movements and matching battle power. When successful, it produces a warrior far stronger than the two individuals."

"Exactly!" Goku nodded. "When I saw it in Other World, two weak Metamorans fused into someone incredibly strong. It's not simple addition. It's more like… one plus one becoming far greater than two!"

Vegeta clicked his tongue. "You always stumble upon ridiculous techniques, Kakarot."

Beerus leaned forward with interest. "So if you two fused… what kind of warrior would appear?"

"For sure it'd be amazing!" Goku said eagerly.

"Don't be absurd!" Vegeta snapped immediately. "I would never fuse with you!"

Beerus smirked faintly, remembering that even prideful warriors eventually compromise when survival demands it.

Back in the video, Frieza observed calmly.

"Oh? So they merged," he mused. "Interesting."

But as his eyes focused on the separated children, recognition dawned.

Goten's face was unmistakable the same sharp eyes and familiar expression as Goku on Planet Namek when he first became a Super Saiyan.

"That brat… he's clearly Kakarot's son."

Then Frieza's gaze shifted to Trunks.

The lavender hair. The stern eyes.

His pupils shrank.

"Yes… that face…"

Memories surged back the moment Mecha Frieza and King Cold landed on Earth after Namek's destruction. The moment a mysterious young Saiyan sliced him effortlessly with a sword, transforming into Super Saiyan before his eyes. The humiliation of being cut into pieces before he could even demonstrate his rebuilt mechanical power.

"It's him!" Frieza hissed, fear flickering briefly. "The Saiyan who cut me in half!"

Though Trunks here was younger, the resemblance to the warrior from that day the one who annihilated him before Goku even arrived via Instant Transmission was undeniable.

And for the first time since his resurrection, Frieza felt the faint echo of that old terror return.
