Enzo kept pulling Arabella along until they finally reached the pub. The heavy wooden doors slammed open under the force of his hand, and the entire place fell silent immediately.
Every single person inside froze.
Tankards stopped midway to mouths, conversations died instantly, and chairs scraped loudly against the floor as people hurriedly stood to their feet. Shock rippled through the crowded pub at the sight of their king.
But Enzo heard none of it.
His mind was burning with rage.
"Everyone out!" Enzo shouted.
His voice thundered across the room with enough force to shake the walls. His eyes burned crimson, glowing unnaturally beneath the dim lantern lights, and he was still stuck midway through shifting. Dark veins spread slightly around his neck while the dangerous aura rolling off him made the air heavy.
Fear exploded through the pub.
No one wasted a second.
