Enzo's eyes narrowed as he looked at the other two Lords.
"What the hell happened when I was gone?" Enzo asked.
Lord Nikolai and Cedric did not speak. They simply waited for Lord Septimus to explain everything to the King.
"My King, the battle happened so fast," Septimus said, and even the King nodded because he remembered that he had been ambushed.
"We only arrived at the ruins when Lady Arabella was leaving with you."
Enzo's eyes raised slightly, unsure of what they meant. Arabella had not been too graphic about what had happened after he fell, and she had mostly focused on telling him about the years he had been asleep and how she had eventually found a way to wake him. She had told him enough for him to understand that she had stayed by his side, but she had never gone into the details of what she had done to keep him safe.
"I heard she saved you," Lucien said.
