Hunter sensed something was off when he found Sienna crying in her sleep.
"She… she is very little… please let her go."
"She must be dreaming," Brian, who was placing the Alfredo pasta on the table, stopped there.
"Hey, sugar. Wake up," He brushed his fingers through her hair, she shook a little with a hiccup.
"Please take me to her…"
Breaking all restraints, he took her in his arms and pressed her face to his chest, "You need to wake up, sugar," He whispered in her ear, "You're safe."
He then passed a brief look to Brian, "Must be traumatized," he mouthed silently to his part-time butler, who didn't look convinced.
Ma'am Sienna can't be traumatized. She is very much capable of giving trauma.
"Sienna… hey…" Brian curved down his lips when he found Hunter kissing her temple.
"Someone used to lecture me about consent," He tried to tease his boss, but then realized his mistake.
His employer's wife was already in pain.
"Sienna. Come back…" He wiped her face.
