Mira took two steps back. She tugged Ming Tao by the arm and when he looked at her, she pulled him two steps back as well, towards herself. "Whatever he is going to do, I want us both safe from it." Mira whispered to him like a thief.
Ming Tao chuckled. "Has anyone ever told you that you are cute when you are terrified?" Ming Tao asked. Mira felt her eye twitch.
"What?" She asked in a whisper.
"You are so knowledgeable about everything that is new to me and some of us here, you form words and the words fit into conversation and sentences. You thought about a farm and it worked the way you said it would, yet here you are, the smart one herself terrified about something that would not harm a bird." Ming Tao commented. "Something that is also not very new to the beast tribes." He added.
