Mira shut her eyes then opened it again and stared at the mist scenery.
She still saw the fox tail and ears. She pulled a hand away from Ming Tao and rubbed it against both eyes then stared at the mist again. She did not imagine it, the old owner of this body was a proper beast when she was a cub.
So. . . Mira swallowed. . . . What changed?
Mira turned her head backwards to stare at her behind. She had no tail. She used her free hand, the one she used to rub her eyes, to reach for her face and search for her fox ears which she already knew she did not have. There were no fox ears present.
Mira had human like ears and no tail yet the image before her suggested that it should not have been so.
"Oh my goodness, why did you kill it, Hye Yang?!" Blurred through Mira's ears and she returned her focus to the mist scenery.
"It was a toad. It looked ugly and got on my nerves so I ended its life." Hye Yang spat, completely unbothered.
