Back at the mansion the air itself felt heavy with tension
Akube slowly looked toward Dranexx with a dead expression.
"We are so dead bruh."
Dranexx kept walking forward calmly.
"Stay quiet… don't make a sound."
"Oh, I won't!!"
Both of them froze instantly.
Soral was standing behind them coldly with her arms folded
Even Scorpy felt a chill run down his spine under her aura.
"Holds on you, jerk!" Soral snapped while glaring at Dranexx "Where were you hiding?"
Her eyes shifted toward Akube.
"And Akube… where's the money you earned today?!"
Akube's face immediately dropped.
"Oh crap" He suddenly remembered everything.
"I totally forgot the guild and monsters I hunted!"
Soral sighed deeply before rubbing her forehead.
"And who's the new member?"
Scorpy straightened himself quickly.
"Ah… ma'am, my name's Scorpy. I just joined your party."

Soral's expression softened slightly.
"Welcome" Then she pointed toward the hallway behind her
"Now… dive in the hot tub and relax. The boys and I have some unfinished business."
Scorpy immediately nodded.

The moment he left Akube looked toward Dranexx with despair in his eyes.
"We are so screwed."

Soral crossed her arms again.
"Akube! For failing your duties, you're suspended from breakfast and lunch for three months!"

He almost fell to his knees dramatically.

Soral's voice instantly shut both of them down.
"Acting like children."
Dranexx pointed at Akube "Because Akube is a child"

"Last warning"
The pressure in the room instantly increased.
"Tease Dranexx again and anywhere else, not in front of me Got it?"
Akube immediately straightened up.

Later that night, Dranexx collapsed onto his bed exhausted then Soral appeared beside him

"Just checking on you."

Dranexx rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Because you're a Grandmaster and I'm a human"
He looked away slightly "I worried about consequences"
Soral moved closer calmly.

Dranexx blinked.

Dranexx listened carefully.
"5,000 kilometers."

"For 15 minutes, no one can use powers, magic or skills."

"So no Conceptual manipulation would work on me once i activate Anti-odien "
A dangerous smile appeared on her face.

"Not even Grandmasters."
Dranexx sat up immediately.
"Fifteen minutes?! 5,000 km?! That's insane!"

Outside the room, Akube shook his head slowly while walking away.

He sighed dramatically.

"She's terrifying when angry."
Akube stopped walking.

"Is he having an affair with her?!"
He stared blankly into space.

"I better stay focused before I die out there"
Later, Akube arrived at the guild to claim his rewards.

Asunal smiled brightly the moment she saw him.
Akube waved casually.

"Right, I came to deliver my job hunt. I got 68 chimeras."
Asunal froze.

The Guildmaster suddenly approached with a grin.

He tossed a heavy pouch toward him.
"Your reward: 3,600 gold coins."
Akube caught it instantly.

The Guildmaster looked around curiously.
"Where's Dranexx?"
A teasing smile appeared on his face "Heard he has a girlfriend now?"
Asunal instantly turned toward Akube.
"He what?!"
Akube shrugged casually.
"Soral." He grinned slightly "Two months with us now."
Asunal went silent.
"I've been in love with him since the day he arrived" Akube blinked before laughing lightly
"Who knew?"
He shook his head.
"Looks like Dranexx is the ladies' man"
A tired sigh escaped him.
