The king had sent him to investigate the kingdom and everyone within it.
During his investigation he discovered something strange,Something that had happened without anyone noticing
"Yes, your majesty."
Jakashi bowed respectfully.
"I investigated the entire kingdom and the new refugees that came in two months ago, however"
"However?!"
The king's expression hardened immediately.
Jakashi remained calm.
"Twenty miles away outside the kingdom i found out something really interesting."
King Karol leaned forward slightly.
"What is it that you discovered, Jakashi?"
"Well…it's not much of a big deal."
He paused briefly.
"But I think a war took place outside the kingdom two months ago"
The room instantly became silent.
"An entire army was taken down on their way to our kingdom"
King Karol's eyes widened
"Wait seriously?!"
He immediately stood up from his throne.
"You mean we almost got attacked two months ago?!"
"Yes…"
Jakashi nodded slowly.
"But somehow someone took care of them before they could reach our kingdom."
His expression became slightly serious
"I couldn't find who it is yet, but I am still investigating."
He placed a hand on his chest respectfully.
"I will let you know once I get a lead on them."
King Karol slowly sat back down.
"Please do"
A worried expression appeared on his face.
"Whoever it is we need to know if they're friend or foe."
"Yes your majesty."
Jakashi bowed once more.
"I will keep you posted as soon as I get a lead on them."
He turned around calmly.
"For now, please do stay safe."
A faint smile appeared on his face.
"Okay bye."
King Karol sighed softly.
"Oh yes… please do stay safe too, okay? And be careful out there."
"I will, sir."

Jakashi vanished instantly.
King Karol stared quietly into space after his disappearance.
"So it would seem the other kingdoms are planning to go on a war again huh…"
His expression darkened.
"We have to be ready at all cost."
He slowly clenched his fist.
"Most especially…..who is the person that took out that army?"
A deep sigh escaped him.

He looked toward the large windows of the throne room.
"I just pray Jakashi finds out who it is."
His eyes narrowed slightly.
"And if he can manage to convince him or her to join our side"
A faint smile appeared.
"It would be great."
The king stood up immediately.
"I need to call for a meeting right away."
The next day…A meeting was held inside the castle throne room all the elders of the Kingdom of Nacia had gathered
King Karol looked toward them seriously.
"I am truly sorry for calling you all on such short notice"
His voice became heavier.
"The situation now is getting dire"
Elder Gatu folded his arms calmly.
"Well, as soon as I received your message, I knew something was up, King Karol."
He smiled slightly.
"Please, no need to apologize."
The other elders nodded quietly.
"We are always here to support you at all cost."
Gatu leaned forward slightly.
"Now share with us what's going on."
"We need to know how we can help in any way, your majesty."
Elder Mashaki nodded in agreement.
"He's right, your majesty."
"We are the elders of this kingdom."
He placed his hand against his chest respectfully.
"It would be wrong for us to neglect you, the king of this kingdom."
A faint smile appeared on his face.
"So your majesty… don't apologize."
The remaining elders nodded together.
King Karol took a deep breath.
"Well…"
"I sent my trusted servant Jakashi on a quest to investigate the kingdom, both in and out, for suspicious activities."
His expression became serious again.
"During his investigation…he found something rather troubling."
"Troubling?"
Elder Gatu frowned slightly.
"That isn't something Jakashi can't handle."
He leaned back calmly.
"Normally he's the strongest ace we have in this kingdom."
A proud smile appeared on his face.
"He has defended this kingdom for years, protecting your ancestors from the beginning."
Gatu shook his head slightly.
"So yeah… I find it difficult for him to run into a problem he can't solve on his own."
Elder Aliru nodded.
"Yes."
"Jakashi is the great defender of this kingdom."
He looked toward the king carefully.
"What could be troubling his majesty like that?"
King Karol slowly exhaled.
"Well…Two months ago we were almost attacked by some armies."
The elders immediately reacted.

"According to Jakashi's report"
King Karol continued.
"They were all strong and had powerful allies around."
His eyes narrowed.
"However"
All the elders leaned forward instantly.

"They were all wiped out by someone else before they could reach our kingdom."
Silence filled the throne room.
"Wait WHAT?!"
Elder Gatu's eyes widened.
"Hold on your majesty…"
He looked genuinely shocked now.
"Are you trying to tell us someone's out there powerful enough to wipe out an entire army besides Jakashi?"

King Karol slowly nodded.
Elder Aliru immediately spoke.
"Do you know what kingdom sent them?"
"Well, Jakashi is investigating that."
The king folded his hands together.
"We will have to wait for his report as soon as he finds something."
Elder Gatu rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"Hmmm…This seems strange."
His expression slowly darkened.
"Whoever he or she is…I am sure they're not from around here."
"Yes…"
King Karol nodded.
"Jakashi has the ability to see previous battles that happened from one month ago."
He sighed softly.
"But since this one happened two months ago…he couldn't see it."
The king looked toward the elders again.
"So he had to go deeper for more investigation."
Elder Gatu gave a small nod.
"Jakashi is smart."
A confident smile appeared on his face.
"He will get a lead."

King Karol closed his eyes briefly.

As the meeting continued the doors suddenly opened.
One of the royal guards hurried inside.
"Your majesty!"
The guard bowed quickly.
"Someone is outside the castle trying to come in"
King Karol raised a brow.
"She's demanding to see you in person"
"Who is she?"
"I don't know sire."
The guard looked nervous.
"She says it's important"
His expression became serious.
"It's something to do about the situation outside the kingdom two months ago"
King Karol immediately stood up.
"Wait really?"
He pointed toward the entrance.
"Let her in."
Elder Gatu frowned.
"Are you sure about this your majesty?"
"We don't know who she is."
"Yes"
King Karol nodded calmly.
"But she knows who we are."
His eyes sharpened slightly.
"And she knows about what happened two months ago."
He sat back down slowly.
"So I might as well hear what she has for us."
Elder Gatu sighed.
"Okay… if you say so, your majesty."
A few moments later the large doors opened once again.
The person who entered was none other than Soral herself.
The moment she stepped into the throne room
the atmosphere changed.
Elder Gatu's eyes narrowed instantly.
She's powerful…Clearly she's not an ordinary human
Soral bowed politely.
"Greetings your majesty"
A faint smile appeared on her face.
"Or should I say King Karol."
"Greetings."
King Karol nodded respectfully.
"It's nice to meet you."
He studied her carefully.
"To what do I owe this visit from you?"

Soral folded her arms calmly.
"I came here to humbly ask you to call off your investigation about the battle that occurred two months ago."
Her eyes became colder.
"For it will be good for all of you."
The guards immediately reacted.

The guards immediately froze.

The king sighed softly before looking back toward Soral.
"Apologies for my guards' actions."

Soral nodded calmly.
"I understand."
"They're just doing their jobs."
Then her expression became serious again.

She looked directly at the king.
"Call your man back and stop the investigation now."
King Karol frowned slightly.
"Please, if I may ask…why?"
"Because he might get furious when he finds out someone is tailing him"
The temperature in the room suddenly dropped slightly
"And it might end badly for your detective or whoever"
Soral closed her eyes briefly.
"I am doing this for your own benefit."
The king slowly leaned forward.
"He…?"
His eyes narrowed carefully.
"If I may ask…who is this person?"
"Not he."
Soral corrected immediately.
"They."
She turned around casually.
"That's as much as I could tell you."
Then she waved lightly.
"Just call off your detective, okay?"
A playful smile appeared on her face.
"See ya, his Royal Majesty…"

Soral vanished
King Karol stared at the empty space.

Elder Gatu immediately stepped forward.

He looked toward the king carefully.

"I don't."

Elder Aliru frowned deeply.
