The driver glanced at the tall man beside Chloe Sinclair, his expression slightly resentful. He pulled his head back into the car, and with a SPUTTER, the tailpipe coughed out a plume of gray smoke.
Chloe Sinclair watched the taxi drive away, then couldn't help but look back at Jasper Shaw.
Jasper Shaw coughed into his hand, trying to hide his embarrassment.
"Chloe, where are you headed? I'll give you a ride."
Ian Winters had already finished work for the day, so Jasper had come to the airport alone.
Chloe Sinclair got into the passenger seat, buckled her seatbelt, and said, "Let's head to the lab. I still have some data to finish processing."
Jasper Shaw nodded.
On the way, Jasper Shaw said, "The aid supplies for the children in the mountain regions have been delivered. And the Shaw Group has also set up a dedicated foundation to help children all over the country finish their schooling."
Hearing this, Chloe Sinclair's eyes widened in surprise.
