As he was about to leave, Jasper Shaw suddenly thought of something.
"Chloe, when are you free? My grandpa wants to see you. I think he has something he needs to discuss."
Chloe Sinclair was putting on her lab coat. Hearing Jasper Shaw say his grandfather wanted to see her, she was a little surprised.
She didn't hesitate for long, though. After thinking about her recent schedule, she asked, "Is your grandpa in a hurry? Final exams are coming up, and I still have to finish the wrap-up work on the nuclear device. I might not have any time before the break."
"No rush," Jasper Shaw said. "Grandpa's not short on time."
After saying that, he added, "Your health is the most important thing. You can put my grandpa's matter aside."
Chloe Sinclair didn't know whether to laugh or cry. She couldn't help but say, "What kind of grandson are you? What if your grandpa really has something urgent?"
"He won't," Jasper Shaw denied flat out.
