Behind Damian Xavier, Aria Sterling silently raised the small pair of scissors. She closed her eyes, bit her lip, and with a surge of strength, plunged them into his waist!
Damian Xavier's body stiffened. Feeling the pain in his waist, he turned his head and reached back, his hand coming away covered in blood.
Aria Sterling's feet finally touched the ground.
"Damian Xavier! I hate you!"
Damian Xavier crouched down, seizing the hand she held the scissors with. His dark gaze swept coldly over her tense face. "Aria Sterling, you've got some nerve!"
Aria Sterling watched the blood flow from Damian Xavier's body, staining his pure white shirt. In that instant, the scissors fell to the floor.
She looked at Damian Xavier, struggling to compose herself. "You forced my hand."
She spoke through gritted teeth, but her expression was cold. Then, with a burst of brute force, she broke free from Damian Xavier's grasp and stumbled away.
