Damian Xavier's gaze never left Aria Sterling's face. The tender pity in his eyes gave Vincent Vance goosebumps all over.
'Is this still Damian Xavier?' Vincent wondered. 'When has he ever cared so much about someone?'
Nearby, Tristan Xavier couldn't resist looking at Damian, but when he saw his brother's gaze fixed on Aria, he angrily looked away, kicking at the ground and sending a pebble flying.
Tristan plotted to himself.
'This woman, Aria Sterling, absolutely cannot stay. Damian is already this bewitched by her; it's only going to get worse.'
'Feelings are something Damian absolutely can't afford right now. They'll become his fatal weakness. For the sake of his career, his future, I have to keep a close watch on Aria Sterling.'
