The Little Elf continuously shifted the perspective, while Mo Ling kept shattering the glass mirrors that appeared before him.
The two of them were like an assembly line, breaking down all the barriers.
Dark voids kept appearing, and Mo Ling could feel a constant, escaping draft.

The current was too fast for Mo Ling to get a clear sense of it, so he could only assume it was one of the fragment races that had achieved transcendence.
"That's about it," the Little Elf reminded him.
"So soon?" Mo Ling was a little surprised.
"Of course. Not all the fragments contain their companions. Many are empty, just substitutes they use to fill the cracks in the building blocks."
"I see."
Finally, with their combined effort, Mo Ling shattered the last barrier.
The Little Elf returned the view to normal and went back inside Mo Ling's projection.
