Shi Li's words seemed to jolt Bai Qingye awake.
After a few seconds of stunned silence, Bai Qingye pulled Shi Li into a death grip.
He squeezed with enough force to fuse her into his very body.
"How are you? Are you okay?"
"We all thought you were dead."
"Were you captured, too?"
"They didn't do anything to you, did they?" After letting go, Bai Qingye quickly looked Shi Li up and down, even trying to lift her clothes to check for injuries.
But Shi Li stopped him.
'That's not what's important right now.'
"I'm fine, just a few minor scrapes."
"The main concern is you. Can you still walk?"
"I don't have much spiritual power left, so I don't dare use it all to soothe you at once." Shi Li thought she should save some spiritual power to at least give herself a chance to reset.
As long as she could still reset, even if these people died, they would come back to life after the reset.
