The day Pei Ye returned to Wudaokou Nursing College, an incident occurred on the set of *Our Little Sweetness*.
A heavy atmosphere hung over the entire cast and crew. The female lead sat on a stool, pale and visibly shaken, while a pool of blood stained the ground next to a camera.
The plot of *Our Little Sweetness* was split into two timelines: the male and female leads' school days, and their bittersweet reunion many years later. Even though it was a modern romance drama, it involved a few wirework scenes, primarily used to showcase the sweet, youthful bond between the protagonists. These included exaggerated basketball maneuvers, climbing trees to rescue stray cats, or saving a suicidal classmate from the rooftop. Such small events served as catalysts to heat up their budding first love.
