"Alright then, my little girl. Prepare yourself now."
Dan slowly removed his hand from Sophia's head and stepped several paces backward.
A safe distance and clear sign that what was about to begin was no ordinary sparring match.
Sophia answered him with a calm and gentle smile the last warm smile before the transformation.
"Yes, Father."
"First, I need to reinforce this place with extremely powerful seals. Otherwise, it will definitely collapse under our power."
Dan spoke in a serious and focused tone.
Then suddenly, an enormous and unbelievably complex network of seals burst out directly from beneath his feet.
Fwoooooooosh!
The seals spread at terrifying speed across every part of the gigantic underground hall. the stone walls and across the ceiling. the vast solid floor.
Every single centimeter of the chamber became covered in overlapping layers of Fuinjutsu. Layer upon layer and seal over seal.
A multi layered defense system some seals were designed for hardness others for flexibility and some absorbed shockwaves. Others stabilized the structure itself. Protection and containment pressure dispersion seals.
The entire hall instantly transformed into a massive fortress of formulas and chakra patterns glowing faintly with blue light.
The truth was that this solution had actually been proposed by Sophia herself, and after thinking about it carefully, Dan agreed that it was both reasonable and suitable.
The idea was simple. Dan himself would become her direct opponent in a real and deadly battle. There were several logical reasons behind this decision.
First, he could fight her without limits to the very edge of death to the final drop of blood.
He could fully satisfy the violent bloodlust buried deep inside her without fearing that he might accidentally kill her because of his absolute control over his own strength.
Second, he was powerful enough to completely overpower her and critically injure her whenever necessary while remaining untouchable himself.
And finally, Dan possessed monstrous regenerative and healing abilities far beyond Sophia's own.
He could push her to the edge of true death right to the brink of the abyss and still heal her immediately afterward and pull her back alive.
Although Dan personally considered the entire idea somewhat extreme and dangerous in the end, he accepted it without much hesitation.
After all, she was his beloved daughter and he wanted to grant her everything she asked for, even if her request was somewhat dangerous or abnormal.
That was why he first prepared their battlefield carefully. This enormous underground hall located deep beneath the earth, isolated from everyone else. Far away from the family and completely sealed off.
Yet even then, he still needed to strengthen it heavily. Otherwise, it would inevitably collapse during their violent clash. Even while suppressing most of his true power .
The battle itself would still be catastrophic at that exact same moment, Sophia formed her personal katana in her hand. Her favorite weapon.
But this time, its appearance had changed completely. It was no longer merely a blade of transparent glowing blue chakra. Now it possessed true physical form a real sword. beautiful and deadly katana.
A shining silver blade polished to perfection sharp to a terrifying degree and elegant black handle wrapped neatly in dark cloth.
This was possible because of her precise control over Yin–Yang Release. Yin spiritual and imaginative energy. Yang physical and material energy.
By combining both together perfectly, she could materialize the blade into a completely solid and real weapon.
At the same time, Dan spoke in a satisfied voice.
"Good. I've finished reinforcing the hall completely."
He looked around carefully, inspecting the countless seals spread across the chamber before continuing.
"This level of layered sealing should be more than enough to withstand the damage."
"Now only the second important matter remains..."
Then suddenly, another completely different network of special seals began spreading directly across Dan's body.
Fwoooooosh!
Across his chest his arms. legs and back.his entire body became covered in complicated sealing formulas.
Then he spoke clearly while pointing toward himself.
"I need to seal away most of my true power and drastically lower it."
He paused briefly before continuing.
"To a level roughly equal to yours, my little girl. Otherwise, this wouldn't become a real battle."
Then suddenly, all the seals covering his body floated upward into the air above his head.
Fwoooooosh!
They slowly gathered together and formed five beautiful glowing blue circles floating calmly above him.
Each circle rotated slowly and represented one sealed layer of his monstrous power.
Every circle imprisoned an enormous portion of his abilities.
Then, just as suddenly the five circles vanished as though they had melted directly into the air itself.
Dan exhaled lightly afterward and spoke in a relaxed, confident tone.
"Alright. I think this level of restriction is more than enough."
He examined his remaining power carefully for a moment before nodding in satisfaction.
Then he raised his eyes directly toward Sophia, who stood silently before him.
Her beautiful katana rested calmly in her hand her stance was steady. Perfectly prepared.
Dan looked at her seriously and spoke in a firm voice.
"Prepare yourself now, my little girl."
She answered calmly.
"Yes, Father."
Then suddenly...
Her entire expression changed completely.
The warm, gentle, affectionate smile she had worn only moments earlier disappeared entirely.
What replaced it was something terrifyingly cold. Her beautiful eyes lost every trace of life within them. Dead and cold eyes completely devoid of emotion.
All that remained was a frozen expression stone-like face and empty stare.
Then suddenly, an unbelievably sharp and deathly aura exploded outward from her body.
BOOOOOOOOM!
It felt as if the air itself had frozen solid the warmth in the room vanished.and in its place the sensation of death appeared.
The killer had finally been released from the chains that once restrained her crimson darkness.
