I immediately glanced at Aimy.
Her head rested weakly on Alexander's shoulder, but she didn't seem to understand anything.
"Of course," Alexander answered without hesitation.
Still carrying Aimy with one arm, he accepted the pen with his free hand and signed the form.
Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed President Evan freeze.
His eyes widened ever so slightly.
He had obviously heard what the nurse had said.
I lowered my gaze for a moment before looking back at Alexander.
He handed the document back to the nurse, then looked at me.
"Let's go."
I nodded quietly.
Together, we walked toward the hospital entrance, with President Evan following silently behind us.
We went downstairs to the garage, where Aunt Margaret and Anna were already waiting.
"Aunt, you should head back to the mansion and get some rest," I said.
She smiled gently and shook her head.
"I'm perfectly fine, Alicia. I'll go back after I see you off."
