"Someone jumped off the rooftop!!!"
A loud scream was heard.
HOURS AGO...
~ RAINING BEAUTY STUDIO, GANGNAM~
A shutter sound from a camera was heard with a beautiful flawless smile behind the camera as his veiny hands pressed on the scrolling button on the camera.
That's Raphael Kris, the CEO of raining beauty studio. He's in his late twenties, he's five feet seven, masculine in nature, pretty smiles, thick brows, broad shoulders.
"Beautiful!" Raphael commented with a grin as he scrolled through all the pictures on the camera with so much love.
"Did it come out nice, oppa?" A beautiful skinny lady ran up to him, placing her hands on his shoulders as she peeped at the camera.
She sniffed on his neck with the pretense of looking at the pictures.
All the workers in the room mumbled to themselves with a very naughty smile on their faces as they gossiped.
"Elle is so in love with the boss?" They gossiped giggling over their statements.
"I can't believe she's not worried about rumors getting out to the media? What if the boss's girlfriend sees this or even hears of it?" One of the employees blurted with a frown as she glared at Elle.
Raphael was so lost admiring his work that he didn't notice Elle's move on him.
"Boss!" One of the workers called holding his phone.
Raphael raised his head up to the call and he saw Elle's hands on his shoulders.
"Elle!" He called out in more of an unfriendly tone.
"Oppa! Oppa!" She pouted taking her hands off slowly.
Raphael shook his head and walked up to his employee who called out to him.
"Boss, miss Rein have been calling!" He reported giving Raphael's phone to him.
Raphael handed the camera over to the editor who was seated in front of his computer.
"Take care of this!" He said and went to his office.
Getting to his office, he wore a bright smile before returning the missed calls on his phone.
Placing the phone on his ears a cold shiver went down his spine at the sound of Rein's voice.
"Raph, are you done with work?" Rein asked in a bit of a shaky tone.
Rein Hong is Raphael's girlfriend and a well known actress who has acted in so many hit dramas and movies. She's known as the nation's fairy cos of her beauty.
"Baby, are you okay?" He questioned with concern as the smile on his lips disappeared.
He could hear her breath echoing on the phone.
"Are you free tonight? What are your plans for the evening? Can we meet up?" She asked in a very low and depressed tone although she tried to hide it, forcing a grin.
Raphael looked around his office as his thoughts traveled around the place with curiosity written on his brows.
"Elle booked a three hour shoot at the last minute else I would be home by now but if you need me right now, I'll run over to you. Should I come over so you can have spicy noodles with your hot boyfriend?" He asked jovially as he tried to crack her up.
"It's fine! Finish up with her. It would look irresponsible of you to leave your signed work halfway. I bet they're all waiting for you....
"Go ahead! I shouldn't take up much of your time, bye!" Rein uttered not mounting any pressure.
Raphael scratched his brows having doubts about staying back to work not after hearing a depressed voice.
"Rein, I can get over for real! Simone can take over Elle's shoot" He cut in worriedly rushing over to his jacket stand to grab his jacket.
"But Simone doesn't get along with Elle"
"It's fine! They only had a misunderstanding once. I believe they can work together. Don't fall asleep yet okay, I'll be right there. I'm heading out now" Raphael said zooming out of his office as he hung up the call.
He knew something was up with Rein. She wasn't even bothered the moment he talked about Elle. He knew so well how uncomfortable she gets whenever he talks about Elle but her reaction was off.
Walking past the make up room, he saw Elle walking out in a magical dress. The moment Raphael set his eyes on her, inspirational pictures and poses came flowing down his veins.
He smiled nervously knowing so well, he shouldn't be thinking about any of that since Rein was waiting for him.
Simone, Raphael's VP came running to him.
"Raph, you're heading somewhere?" He asked and Raphael stopped walking.
Raphael turned around swiftly.
"Something urgent came up at home, I need to go. Can you take over Elle's shoot?" He requested hurriedly glancing at his wristwatch.
"Something urgent? Raph, I don't think it's a good time for you to go home. Rein's photos for next week's premium magazine is out! The editor just texted me he's done editing them. Should I send you copies or you'll come see them yourself?" Simone asked in a tempting tone.
Raphael smiled mysteriously wrapping his arm around Simone's shoulders.
"You sure do know how to hold me back at work... Let's go see my baby's photos. I'm hoping they came out well so it makes her extremely happy when she sees them!" He uttered excitedly as they head up to the editing room.
Rein I'll make this snappy. I bet you'll be over the moon when I share this news with you! Your photos are definitely coming out beautifully. Raphael said in his head washing off his guilt of staying back.
~ REIN'S APARTMENT ~
Rein was curled up in a corner in her bedroom, shivering in fear as she glanced at her window in fear.
She switched off all the lights. She chewed on her finger nails fearfully with tears rolling down her cheeks.
The moment she dropped her call with Raphael she threw it away when a very perilous text message popped up on her screen.
"Raphael, please come!" She cried silently covering her mouth so she doesn't make any sound.
Her doorbell rang multiple times, getting her even more scared.
Each time the doorbell rang, she twitched in fear.
After some minutes, she gathered some courage and headed out to the sitting room to get a glimpse of whoever came visiting.
Getting to the CCTV camera placed on the wall, she saw it was her manager.
Rein burst into tears falling on the floor. She cried in relief.
"Rein, it's me, your manager! I've got good news for you" He shouted excitedly from outside.
Rein sniffed wiping off her tears before taking the door.

Getting settled in with her manager, she offered him a glass of water.
"Why are you here this late at night?" Rein asked avoiding eye contact as she glued herself to the wall, holding a glass of water with both hands like a stranger in her house.
Her manager took out a card from her bag and stretched her hand out to Rein.
"What is this?" Rein asked looking at it.
"You've been nominated as one of the hosts for the actors award winning party this year" Her manager squealed in excitement.
The glass of water in Rein's hand dropped on the floor, the glass scattered and splashed water over the place.
"Rein are you okay?" Her manager flinched and ran over to her.
"That means it's going to be crowded right? So crowded!..." Rein mumbled in a shaky tone.
Her manager looked at her getting even more confused. It was clear to her, Rein wasn't being herself. Was this her new way of showing excitement? She questioned in her head.
"I'll be right back!" Rein cut in and ran into her room stepping on the scattered glass, she wasn't even bothered. She felt zero pain from the piercing of the glass into her feet.
She rushed to her cupboard, grabbed some bottles of pills. She poured out multiple pills from the bottle and threw them into her mouth. She swallowed them forcefully, breathing heavily as she held the wall for support.
Suddenly she bursts into tears covering her mouth so her sobbing isn't heard.
"I can't take this anymore!" She cried clenching her fist tight.
FIVE HOURS LATER....
~ RAINING BEAUTY STUDIO ~
Raphael was seated in front of a computer, doing some final edit to the photos he was shown.
"Raph, it's past 10pm... I thought you had an emergency at home!" Simone cleared his throat as he walked into the editing room with a cup of coffee.
Raphael snatched the cup of coffee from him with his eyes fixed on the computer.
"I think this is beyond perfect! Rein's gonna love it. I can go home now" He uttered with a smile of satisfaction after getting a sip from the coffee.
Simone shook his head with a grin as they both admired Rein's photos on the screen.
"Do you love her that much? It's actually a surprise that your relationship with her hasn't been known to the public yet regardless of how lovey-dovey you get when it comes to Rein" Simone teased.
Raphael leaned back on his seat and smiled.
"Miss Rein, call her name with respect!" He forewarned suddenly sounding so serious.
Simone rolled his eyes playfully as they both laughed.
A notification beeped on Raphael's phone.
"I think you got a message from miss Rein, or should I say Mrs Rein" Simone uttered sarcastically and Raphael glared at him, picking up his phone from the table.
Sliding into the notification, he dropped his phone in shock and zoomed out of the editing room.
"Raphael! Raph! What's going on?" Simone questioned running after him but he picked up Raphael's phone before taking off.
His jaw dropped in shock as he lost his sight for some seconds. He might be seeing things, he thought to himself.
"Raphael, wait up!" He ran after Raphael.
Raphael bumped into a girl on a cast on her leg with tears dropping from his eyes.
The girl fell down cos of the hit.
He stretched his hand to her.
"I'm sorry about that!" He apologized sniffing back his tears as he helped her up.
"It's..." She couldn't finish her sentence when Raphael ran off.

Raphael drove down to Rein's apartment. The whole vicinity have been crowded with police men. The media and paparazzi surrounded the building as they took pictures of everything going on.
An ambulance was blowing its siren at the side of the building.
Raphael jumped out of his car to run into the building but he was stopped by the police.
"Let me through!" He yelled trying to force his way in.
"Raphael..." Simone called out slowly tapping him from the back.
Raphael turned to him and he saw Rein being carried on the stretcher, her hands, face and whole body was covered in blood.
She was seen at the side of the building where she landed after jumping off a fifteen story building.
The moment Raphael saw her being covered with white clothing, he fell on his knees devastated.
Hot tears rolling down his cheeks.
"This is where actress Rein Hong lives. The nation's fairy took her own life by jumping off her fifteen story building! The witnesses claim to see her jump off one minute past 10. The police are running some investigation to confirm the cause of her death" A reporter announced on a live TV.
Raphael stood up from the floor and ran into the building regardless of being chased by the police. He used the stairs as he ran like a lunatic to the rooftop.
He grabbed the doorknob like his life depended on it. He cracked the door open and the first thing his eyes landed on, were Rein's floral sandals.
She placed them at the side before jumping off.
The sandals were gifted to her by Raphael on her first hit drama, she played a main role.
Raphael dragged his legs to where the sandals were.
"Rein, tell me I'm dreaming! It's just a nightmare!"
"SAY IT OUT LOUD TO ME! Raphael you're dreaming... Say it!!!" Raphael screamed breaking down into a deeper cry.
