I was sleeping peacefully.
"Jayyyyy... wake uppp!" Keifer said, shaking me.
"Two more minutes..." I mumbled and went back to sleep.
When I finally woke up, I checked the time.
12:00 pm
"What the..."
I quickly got out of bed, freshened up, took a bath, and rushed downstairs.
Keifer was sitting on the floor, playing with Kaira and Kerein.
Without saying anything, I walked over and smacked the back of his head.
"Ow! Why?" he asked, rubbing his head.
Kerein started laughing while Kaira made a tiny crying face.
"Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked.
He smiled.
"You looked too cute while sleeping. I didn't want to wake you... Oh, and we got a call from the university."
I looked at him.
"What call?"
"We can start going from tomorrow."
My eyes widened.
"Really?"
He nodded.
"Why didn't you tell me before? I don't even have clothes for university. Come on! Get up. We need to go shopping."
He sighed.

First, I ate breakfast... well, more like brunch.
Then we left for the mall.
After reaching the mall, we went into a clothing store.
We started choosing dresses for me.
After picking a few, I went into the trial room.
When I came out, I couldn't find Keifer.
I looked around until I saw him.
He was talking to a girl.

And he was even holding her shopping bags.

He turned around.

"Yeah, let's go to the food court," Keifer replied.
We ordered our food and sat down.
I was sitting beside Keifer.
Ellina sat in front of him.
The whole time, they kept talking.
Sometimes she even touched his arm.
But he didn't stop her.
Soon our food arrived.
We started eating.
Then something got stuck on Ellina's face.
"Oh... wait," Keifer said.
He leaned forward and gently wiped it off with a tissue.
My hand froze.

No one noticed how silent I had become.
After eating, we walked towards the parking lot.
"Keif... can you drop me home?" Ellina asked.
Keifer pov :
I knew my cute potato was jealous.

She looked cute when she was jealous.
And ellina ?
She was too clingy.
"Yeah, sure," I said.
She smiled and walked towards the passenger seat.
Wait...
That's Jay's seat.
Before I could stop her...
Jay grabbed her hair.
"Don't you have any shame?" Jay snapped.
"His fiancé is standing right here, and you're trying to sit in the passenger seat? Sit in the back if you want a ride. Otherwise, leave."
My eyes widened.

I'm dead.
Ellina quickly stepped back.
"I... I'll just leave."
Before leaving, she suddenly hugged me.
I froze.
I didn't hug her back.
She had the guts to hug me in front of my future wife.
After she left, Jay silently sat in the passenger seat.
I started the car.
The whole drive home was silent.
Not a single word.
When we reached home, I parked the car and looked at Jay.
A tear fell onto her palm.
She was crying...
She quickly got out and ran inside.
I followed her.
She greeted Mom like everything was normal, picked up Kaira, and walked into the guest room.

She locked the door.
"Jay..." I knocked.
After a few seconds, she opened the door.
She looked completely normal.
"Are you okay?" I asked softly.
"What happened? I'm sorry."
She smiled.
"Yeah... I'm fine."
Then she closed the door again.

The door locked once more.
I stood there, staring at it.

I really messed up.

"Keif."
Dad's voice came from behind me.
I turned around.
"What happened?" he asked.
I sighed and took him to our room.
After telling him everything, he looked at me and shook his head.
"God... you're in trouble."
"I made the same mistake with Serina years ago. She ignored me for a whole week. Then, for the next two weeks, she tortured me. She even threatened to go back to her parents' house."
I ran my hand through my hair.
"What should I do, Dad?"
He smiled.
"Win her heart again. Take her on a date. Make her feel that she's the only girl in your eyes."
He patted my shoulder before leaving the room.
I took out my phone and quickly called my monkey friends.
"I need your help."
"What happened?" they asked together.
"I messed up... badly."
There was silence for a few seconds.
Then they all spoke at once.
"Don't worry. We'll help you."
