Anisha didn't know how long she had been there.
Cold seeped into her bones, she shivered.
She hugged Juliana closer, her hair moist and scattered.
Her teeth clattered due to the cold and at the same time, sniffs came out in broken, uneven breaths.
"My Lady!"
Anisha heard someone call. The voice belonged to a female.
She pulled Juliana tighter.
"My Lady," a man's voice came.
"Where could she be?" the lady said worriedly.
"Found her," The man alerted. His eyes widened
Footsteps approached.
Two more guards appeared, along with two maidservants. They saw Juliana, looking dead.
"My Lady," one of the servants rushed over.
Her eyes filled with horror. The rest followed.
Anisha couldn't bring herself to say anything, even when they asked.
Juliana was carried home.
The whole house froze at the news of Juliana's passing.
"What do you mean you found her dead?" Juliana's husband, the robust man with a bald head, barked at the messenger.
