Near a small village there was a forest that everyone called the Haunted Forest. People believed strange things happened there at night.
One day, four friends—Ravi, Pooja, Aman, and Sara—decided to explore it during the afternoon.
At first, the forest looked normal. Tall trees surrounded them, and birds were singing. But as they walked deeper, the forest became darker and quieter.
Suddenly, they heard a strange sound coming from behind the trees.
"Did you hear that?" Pooja whispered.
The friends continued walking but soon realized they had lost the path. The forest looked the same in every direction.
As evening approached, the wind began to blow, making the branches creak loudly. Shadows moved across the ground, making the place feel even scarier.
Ravi tried to stay calm. "We need to think carefully," he said.
Aman climbed a tall rock to look around. From the top, he noticed a small river flowing nearby.
"We can follow the river," he said. "It might lead us out."
The friends walked along the riverbank carefully. After some time, they saw lights shining in the distance.
It was the village!
They ran toward the lights and soon reached safety. Their families were relieved to see them.
Later they realized the forest wasn't haunted at all. The strange sounds were just animals and the wind.
But the adventure taught them an important lesson about teamwork and courage.
