After some years now the young teenager has transformed into a fine man has finally become a cultivator.
In these years he has tried his best in every way possible to help the old man or to say sect leader.
He has also reached at true element realm after cultivating for nearly seven years.
According to the old man, his cultivation talent should be decent enough if he reached the true element realm in such early age.

The old man nodded and said, " yeah that's right and now as you can see the sect is gone. When I first recruited you i thought of you as the next successor of mine, as i don't want to be the sinner of the sect under whom hands the sect lineage ends."
" But now as I have seen your cultivation progress I can say you atleast possess mid grade spiritual root qualification and of fire attribute atleast and i don't want to destroy your life by tieing you to this rundown sect."
Lei jun immediately interrupted and said, " Master, it's not like that. It was you whom saved me at that time otherwise,.."
However before he can finish his words , the old man interrupted him and said, " Listen to what i have said, if you stay here you will be stayed in the same stage for the lifetime or will waste your best time. "
Then the old man opened his storage bag and then gave him everything including the bag except for the sect leader token.
Lei jun stood there and asked, " Master what is the meaning behind this?"
The old man while looking at him and said, " This is all the old man can offer, now read it first and decide still want to live here or not."
He reached towards the ancestral records and then said to him to read it.
After some time reading this, Lei jun understanding of the world came to a whole new stage. The previous information about the area he has was nothing in front of the whole thing.
But the main thing was ofcourse the information that the sect name was not firstly named as ' Eternal God sect' but the ' Shattering cloud sect'.
It is just that sect was later declined after a fight with some other forces for some resources but the information and sources are not fully mentioned.
The only thing that the first sect leader of 'Eternal God sect' said that after the fight they had to flee and start a new sect with other name to escape the pursuit.
The first sect leader also said that didn't want revenge but just want the lineage to continue. From the wording one can guess that they were in despair because of the choice they have made at that time.
After reading it through he came to know that for last four generations there are not a single sect leader with more than one disciple.
From this one can guess the foundation of the sect has eroded with time and now the old man didn't want to pass on the sect leader token to him soi that he can go outside and cultivate well.
As such the old man has already made his mind and he can't change it. But he also didn't want to leave, not until the old man is alive as he didn't want to let old man fed for himself in his last days.
As for sect leader token and position he would think about it later as he partly knew the reason of the old man and knew that even if he stayed as such he would not be able to change much of the situation of the sect in such already dire situation.
The old man also didn't forced him to leave now and went towards him room.
After cultivating as such, time passed by and soon another year has passed and then the old man passed by.
As for the sect leader token it was nowhere to be found and Lei Jun then went for the city first time around after he left for the sect with the old man.

Atleast he would try to get recruit some disciples for the sect ands pass on the mantle to them.

First he thought of increasing his cultivation to atleast mid stage of qi refining stage so that he can get some more power to protect himself.
Now without any late stage qi refining stage master he is alone and need to get some sort of protection for himself and only by increasing his cultivation can help increase his ability to protect himself.
It is not like he didn't think of joining other sect as his master said but he didn't want to unless he pass on the mantle to someone else .
As for it will cause delay in his cultivation journey, Lei Jun didn't think it will cause much impact as he didn't thought it will take more than a decade or two.
He was planning to pass on the sect teaching to his junior to pass on the mantle without any reservation so as to respect his master .
As for his own cultivation, as said by his late master he can still grind to the peak of qi refining stage and when he reach there then he will decide to join a sect.
But now the main step is to cultivate and strive to reach higher level cultivation. He will also use the resources left by his late master to quick up his pace in cultivation.
Because in 3 years, the local sects will came to the nearest town to recruit some immortal seedlings. And the best thing is that he forget to even ask about the sects name that are about to come to recruit, more or less about the town name.
He decided that whenever he will go next time to the town he will first look for these informations.
After that a cycle of steady cultivation of Lei Jun was started. He even used the last 53 low grade spirit stones left by his master to increase his cultivation speed.
Lei jun wake up early morning then first he will uproot the weeds in the spirit fields at it was his primary source of income.

So for this sole reason he can't let anyone harm this piece of fields.
