The entire staff of the 'juries of death' was in panic. All of them had seen for themselves that Johan had never been this quick to be ready to kill. Johan had always taken a long time to get his preparations done.
This sudden order that was to be completed within less than twenty-four hours threw everyone into panic. Both Elesie and Werner were surprised at his sudden order; Johan always took his sweet time to hunt.
While Johan had put everyone in panic at the base, he was at his home exercising nonstop without a moment of rest. Johan was overflowing with anger; this anger was manifested in him to the utmost for the power users for the first time in eight years.
Before he realised it, it was already morning. He had trained all the remaining night, then suddenly his mother knocked on his door; he wiped off his sweat with a handkerchief nearby and opened the door.
"I got a call from work; I have to go immediately. You can order breakfast. I have left the money in the kitchen; order anything you want, okay?" Her mother said this with a smile on her face.
"Ok, I will, Mom. Bye."
Her mother rushed outside to her car, started it and went to her workplace.
Johan didn't want to eat anything; he didn't even want to drink water. He wanted to talk to someone about what he had seen. He then remembered that he had told Hans and others to come by; he then grabbed his phone and called Hans.
Hans picked up his phone.
"Hans? It's me. Yeah, remember yesterday I told you to bring Irina and Anna for a gathering at my house? Could you come a bit quicker? I need to talk about something."
"Hmm…okay sure, I will bring them within an hour," replied Hans.
Johan didn't take a bath or even eat anything; he just wanted to talk and open up to the people close to him. Sometime later, Hans, Irina and Anna arrived at his house; Johan opened the door before they even rang the bell.
When the door opened, the sight of Johan surprised them because of him coming so quickly to receive them and also the look on his face. They clearly saw that he was tense.
"A-are you okay, Johan?" Asked Anna upon seeing him distressed.
"Oh, uh, yeah, why?" Johan didn't realise the look on his face. "Anyway, come on in."
They entered the house, and Johan guided them to the living room.
"I will bring some drinks. Will beer work?"
"Yeah," all of them replied at the same time; all of them were worried about what Johan was going to talk to them about. They had never seen Johan this distressed; Johan had always been the less expressive one.
The most surprised were Hans and Anna because they knew all about his second identity, and for them, seeing him sweating so much made them worry even more.
He brought the beer and glasses and sat down a bit; his face now looked a bit calmer. All of them thought he was this tense because of the incident which happened at the college, but they were wrong.
Johan described what he saw when he had reached the site where the bodies of the two children were. They stopped drinking, but it was too late; even the description of the scene was too disturbing for them. Irina and Hans suddenly got up and ran to the bathroom; they were vomiting.
Anna just stayed there stuck in place, and so did Johan after harrowing the scene. After a moment Hans got back while Irina was still in the bathroom.
"There is something else you both need to know too," Johan said to them in a serious tone.
Both of them started listening to him attentively.
"I…have decided that with the help of the organisation I…I…am going to kill them without mercy." Johan said this with visible anger on his face.
Both of them didn't need an explanation, as they both knew about the organisation.
A moment later Irina came back and seated herself.
"That was awful. At least warn us before telling us something that awful." Irina told Johan
"Oh...I forgot...I'm sorry...I just...needed to get it off my chest; I needed someone to talk to." Johan apologised to them.
For Johan, her mother seemed weak of heart, so he would have never dared to talk to her about something like this. They all understood that Johan's intention was not to disturb their peace of mind, well... In reality no one in their world had the luxury of having peace of mind.
They changed the topic; they didn't go anywhere near what happened yesterday morning and at night. They just talked about random topics; after a while, they ordered some food and afterwards saw that it was already evening.
Hans, Irina and Anna were then going back to the car to go home; they waved bye at Johan, and then Hans started to slowly drive away while waving back at him.
Johan was now much more relaxed, but the anger was still there, and he noticed that there was a slight heavier throbbing near his chest; it was his own heart. The time for the hunt was near; it had been a little more than an entire year since he had last hunted, but the last hunt was easy; it was to kill a power user who went berserk.
That power user was not strong, but this time both the power users were individually stronger than that individual; some struggle was bound to take place. He gave a call to the organisation.
"I am coming to get my weapons. They better be ready," ordered Johan.
He reached the mall, and the mall was empty; only the people of the organisation were there. They all welcomed him gleefully. All the shops inside the mall were closed, and there was a spotlight at the centre of the ground floor of the mall. The spotlight was directed at the weapon of the most dangerous ordinary man in Europe and possibly the entire Earth.
The weapon was not a sword or a gun; the weapon was a suit, a dark purple and ice-white battle suit. An intimidating suit that could scare anyone just by taking a glance at it. The suit was visibly used; it was covered with blood stains all over and scratches. With a helmet that didn't even have any opening for breathing, let alone seeing, the air was taken in by the small, less than a centimetre grooves located at the joints for movement. The suit was eight cm thick, made completely with titanium and platinum. This suit could only be handled by someone like Johan.
Every member of the organisation was excited to see The Vanquisher finally getting into action after such a long time. Last time the hunt had ended before they even realised.
Johan had put on the suit and was ready to go greet his prey; only the helmet was in his hands. Elesie came up to him and asked him in a serious tone.
"The absolute worst jury, The Vanquisher, are you ready for your first kill in almost three years? There is no backing down though, so you don't have a choice."
"I never regretted a single hunt, and I will definitely not regret this one as well," he put on his helmet and said in a robotic voice.
"I just need an hour to capture them."
