The night was quiet in the Hidden Leaf Village. The moonlight covered the rooftops while most of the villagers slept peacefully. But on the edge of the forest, a mysterious chakra could be felt.
Naruto Uzumaki suddenly woke up."Something feels wrong… this chakra is dark," he said while jumping out the window.
Within seconds he reached the forest. The wind moved the tall trees, and the atmosphere felt heavy. Suddenly a masked ninja appeared from the shadows.
"I've been waiting for you, Naruto," the stranger said coldly.
Naruto narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?"
The stranger laughed and performed a strange hand sign. Dark chakra exploded around him.
"I am the one who will destroy the Hidden Leaf… with the Forbidden Shadow Jutsu."
Naruto quickly created multiple shadow clones.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
Dozens of Naruto clones rushed forward. The masked ninja moved like lightning, destroying clones one after another.
Naruto jumped high into the air.
"Rasengan!"
A bright spinning ball of chakra formed in his hand. He dashed toward the enemy with incredible speed.
BOOM!
The Rasengan hit the ground, creating a huge explosion of dust and wind. Trees shook and birds flew away in fear.
When the smoke cleared, the masked ninja was still standing.
"You're strong… but not strong enough," the stranger said.
Naruto smiled confidently.
"Maybe alone I'm not."
Suddenly, two familiar voices came from behind.
"Chidori!"
A bolt of lightning flashed through the forest as Sasuke Uchiha appeared.
At the same moment, the ground cracked.
"Super Strength!"
Sakura Haruno smashed the ground, sending rocks flying.
Naruto grinned.
"Team 7… let's finish this!"
The battle exploded into action as chakra lights filled the dark forest.
And somewhere in the shadows… a bigger enemy was watching.
"The real war… has only begun."
