Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Unknown Call

The village was called Chandrapur. Surrounded by paddy fields, connected by narrow muddy roads, and at the very edge of the village stood an old, broken house—known by everyone as the haunted house.

Rupa was a girl from that village. Since childhood, she had never been like others. Places that frightened people somehow pulled her toward them.

That night, the moon was full. An unnatural silence covered the village. Even the dogs were quiet.

Suddenly—

"Rupa…"

A low whisper.

Rupa startled. Everyone in the house was asleep. Slowly, she sat up and looked toward the window.

Again, the voice—

"Rupa… come outside…"

The voice sounded human, yet not quite human.

Her heart trembled, but strangely, fear didn't stop her. She opened the window. Outside, she saw nothing—except a faint flickering light coming from the old house at the edge of the village.

Just then, her phone buzzed.

Sajib:

"Did you hear the voice?"

Rupa's hands turned cold.

She replied:

"You heard it too?"

After a few seconds:

"Yes. This is not something good."

Suddenly—thud!

Something fell outside the door.

Rupa rushed and opened it. On the ground lay an old, worn diary.

On its first page, written in red ink like blood—

"Whoever reads this will not survive."

At that moment, the voice whispered again from behind—

"Rupa… there is no turning back now…"
