Chapter 1 - The Intruder

Adam didn't move.

The door behind him opened slowly, letting in a cold gust of night air.

His heart started beating faster.

"Hello?" Adam called carefully.

No answer.

Only the faint sound of footsteps entering the shop.

Adam's eyes adjusted to the darkness. The city lights outside barely illuminated the room.

A tall silhouette appeared near the entrance.

The person wore a long coat and gloves.

"Step away from the computer," the stranger said calmly.

The voice was deep and controlled.

Adam swallowed.

"Who are you?"

The stranger didn't respond.

Instead, he slowly walked closer to the desk where the computer screen was still glowing faintly.

His eyes locked onto the open file.

For a moment, the man froze.

Then he whispered quietly.

"So… someone finally found it."

Adam felt a chill run through his spine.

"You know what this is?" Adam asked.

The stranger looked at him for the first time.

"You have no idea what you've opened," he said.

Adam pointed nervously at the screen.

"It says there's a wallet with 147,000 Bitcoin… is that real?"

The man let out a short laugh.

"Real? That wallet has been hunted for over twenty years."

Adam blinked.

"Twenty years?"

"Yes," the stranger said quietly. "Ever since the disappearance of Satoshi Nakamoto."

Adam stared at him.

"You mean the creator of Bitcoin?"

The man nodded.

"That key you opened… is one of the fragments."

"Fragments?"

"Twelve of them," the man said.

Adam slowly looked back at the screen.

"Twelve pieces of a key… for that wallet?"

The stranger stepped closer.

"Give me the file."

Adam hesitated.

"Why?"

The man's voice became colder.

"Because people have killed for less than this."

Silence filled the room.

Then suddenly—

A loud crash came from outside the shop.

Both men turned toward the window.

Three black SUVs stopped in the street.

Their doors opened at the same time.

Men in dark tactical gear stepped out.

The stranger cursed under his breath.

"They found you faster than I expected."

Adam's pulse exploded.

"Who are they?!"

The stranger grabbed his arm.

"People who will do anything to get that key."

Another loud sound echoed as the shop's front lock was forced open.

Heavy footsteps rushed inside.

The stranger pulled a small device from his pocket and threw it toward the door.

A flash of blinding light filled the room.

"Run!" he shouted.

Adam didn't think.

He grabbed the laptop and sprinted toward the back door.

Behind him, the sound of shouting and chaos filled the shop.

And somewhere in the darkness…
