Chapter 4 -  Arrival on Earth

Master Roshi quickly clasped his hands together, closed his eyes, and prayed toward the universe with what he believed to be the most sincere wish in his heart.

"Meteor, meteor… could you please… please grant me a young, beautiful, hot-bodied, gentle big sister? Please!"

However, the moment Roshi finished silently making his wish, before he even had time to open his eyes—

He suddenly felt a powerful pressure descending from the sky!

Roshi abruptly opened his eyes in shock.

The meteor he had just placed all his hopes on had not disappeared into the horizon at all.

Instead—

It was getting bigger.

And brighter.

Dragging blazing flames behind it, the meteor was diving down with frightening precision directly toward the area where Roshi stood.

Roshi: "!!!!"

His face instantly turned from excitement to pale terror. Even his white beard stood on end.

I asked for a beautiful lady!

Mister Meteor, you got the wrong target!

Roshi screamed silently in his heart.

BOOOOOOM—!!!

The next moment, a thunderous explosion shattered the island's peaceful silence.

The meteor did not strike the Kame House directly.

Instead, it slammed violently into the ocean less than 500 meters away from the island.

Like a gigantic bomb thrown into the sea, the surface of the water instantly collapsed inward, forming a massive crater nearly a hundred meters wide.

The surrounding seawater was violently pushed away.

But the truly terrifying moment came next.

The displaced seawater rushed back with even greater force, forming a ring-shaped tsunami hundreds of meters tall—like a towering wall.

With unstoppable destructive momentum, it crashed toward the small island.

"Ah—!"

Roshi barely had time to shout before the wall of seawater slammed down.

In an instant—

The entire island was swallowed.

Roshi felt like a helpless leaf caught in a raging current, tumbling violently through the turbulent water.

Everything turned dark.

Salty seawater rushed wildly into his nose and mouth.

The massive wave came quickly—

And left just as quickly.

Several dozen seconds later, the raging water finally receded, exposing the devastated island once more.

Fortunately, Kame House was built sturdily and had not collapsed, though it now leaned crookedly.

The outdoor tables, chairs, and beach umbrellas had long since been swept away.

As for Roshi—

He lay sprawled on the ground like a stranded fish, soaked from head to toe and coughing violently as he spat out mouthfuls of seawater.

Just as Roshi struggled to push himself up, he suddenly felt something on top of his head.

Something soft.

And strangely… fragrant?

Confused, Roshi reached up and touched it.

What his hand felt was a smooth, cool body.

Roshi slowly lifted his drenched face.

Through his teary eyes, he saw—

A beautiful mermaid sitting on top of his head.

The golden light of the sunset shone upon her, making the scales of her fish tail shimmer brilliantly.

Her upper body was human—fair skin, delicate features, and large eyes filled with curiosity and caution.

Her lower half was a graceful fish tail covered in sparkling scales.

"A… a mermaid?" Roshi's pupils shrank instantly.

His drooping eyelids shot open.

His old eyes suddenly turned into two rapidly beating pink hearts.

Roshi's mouth fell open, drool nearly dripping down his beard again.

A mermaid… that works too!

And this one is really pretty!

Her small lips looked as soft and tempting as flower petals.

Just looking at them made his heart race.

Is this the gift the meteor gave me?

Meteor, you're amazing!

If I feed the mermaid some mint and chili peppers later…

This… this… this would be absolutely incredible!!!

Meanwhile, the mermaid herself was completely confused.

How did I end up here?

Wasn't I swimming in the ocean just a moment ago?

"Beautiful mermaid, will you be my friend?" Roshi said excitedly.

"I have many skills!"

Smack! Smack!

The mermaid's face darkened instantly.

She whipped her tail and slapped Roshi twice across the face.

Splash!

The next moment, she dove straight back into the ocean, creating a splash before quickly disappearing beneath the waves.

Roshi remained frozen where he stood, his expression blank.

"Hey! Don't leave! We can talk about something else too!" Roshi shouted loudly.

But the mermaid had already vanished.

No matter how loudly he called, there was no response.

Roshi nearly burst into tears.

He subconsciously believed he had just lost the beautiful woman the meteor gave him.

What a wonderful fish she was…

Looking out toward the distant sea, tears streamed down his face.

Just as Roshi mourned his lost "meteor gift" with old tears flowing—

Splash!

Broly's spaceship suddenly rose up from the depths of the ocean and floated on the surface.

Roshi turned his head in confusion.

Through his teary eyes, he saw that the huge "baseball" that had sunk earlier was now floating steadily near the shore.

Water dripped continuously from the spherical surface, glimmering faintly in the sunset.

Roshi rubbed his blurry eyes and blinked hard, focusing on the strange object.

Why did that thing float up by itself?

Could it be… there's another beauty inside?

Maybe the real gift is inside!

"Wahaha!"

Roshi instantly became excited again.

The next moment he shouted loudly:

"Sea Turtle! Sea Turtle! Come here quickly!"

Splash—

The water parted as the sea turtle slowly swam over.

Stretching its neck, it asked,

"Master Roshi, did you call for me?"

"Quick, let me ride you!"

Before the turtle could even respond, Roshi jumped lightly and landed precisely on the turtle's broad—though clearly uncomfortable—shell.

Sea Turtle: "..."

Inside the turtle's mind, it felt as if ten thousand horses were galloping wildly.

Not splashing water—

But endless complaints.

You called me over just to use me as a ride?

This shameless, perverted old man!

Absolutely disgraceful!

But the turtle said nothing.

With resignation, it began paddling forward.

"See that floating big baseball over there? Hurry and swim toward it!" Roshi pointed excitedly.

The turtle turned its head and examined the strange sphere with its tiny eyes.

Although it muttered internally, it still carried Roshi obediently toward the spaceship.

Soon, the man and turtle reached the floating craft.

Roshi eagerly grabbed the smooth surface of the spaceship and pressed his face against the viewing window, peering inside.

There—

A baby wrapped in a simple spacesuit was sleeping peacefully.

His head tilted slightly to the side, his small mouth half open.

It seemed that the massive crash and the underwater journey had not affected him at all.

To Broly—

The catastrophic fall from the sky had been nothing more than a trivial moment in his dream.
