Chapter 40 - CHAPTER 45: THE SECRET THEY NEVER TOLD

KEIFER POV

I thought the condo already revealed enough.

I was wrong.

Very wrong.

Because somehow…

things kept getting worse.

Or more shocking.

Maybe both.

Section E was spread across the giant living room while Luka proudly continued exposing Jay-Jay's entire life against her will.

Robin was helping.

Unfortunately.

"The funny thing is," Robin said while flipping through an old album, "this isn't even the craziest part."

Jay-Jay immediately looked up from the couch.

"Robin."

Too calm.

Dangerously calm.

He ignored her.

Cyrus sighed already.

"Here we go."

Cin sat up dramatically.

"There's MORE?!"

Adrian rubbed his forehead like he already regretted existing.

Robin grinned proudly.

"Oh, Section E has no idea who these idiots actually are."

Blaster frowned immediately.

"What does THAT mean?"

Robin looked around the room dramatically before opening another album.

And the second he did—

silence hit.

Because the pictures inside were different.

Not gang photos.

Concert photos.

Huge stages.

Bright lights.

Crowds.

Thousands of people.

Jay-Jay wearing expensive performance outfits.

Adrian dancing beside her.

Robin with a mic.

Cyrus on stage.

Screaming fans everywhere.

Rory blinked slowly.

"…What the hell?"

Cin grabbed the album aggressively.

"WAIT WAIT WAIT."

Her eyes widened more with every page.

"These are REAL concerts?!"

I moved closer slightly without realizing.

And honestly?

Even I was shocked now.

Because this wasn't small.

This was massive.

One picture showed the four of them on a billboard in another country.

Another showed fans surrounding their cars.

Another had paparazzi photos.

And in almost every picture—

Jay-Jay was in the center.

Smiling.

Performing.

Untouchable.

Felix looked genuinely confused.

"…You guys are famous?"

Robin leaned back proudly.

"Globally."

"WHAT?"

Jay-Jay covered her face with one hand.

"I hate this day."

Too late.

Luka was already excited again.

"They're idols!"

Cyrus corrected calmly.

"Performers."

"Gangster performers," Robin added proudly.

"That sounds illegal," Yuri muttered.

"It kind of was," Robin admitted.

Silence.

Then Adrian finally explained quietly.

"We hid our real identities when we entered normal schools."

Cin blinked rapidly.

"…REAL identities?"

Robin pointed at himself dramatically.

"Mafia families."

Complete silence.

Nobody moved.

Nobody breathed.

Even Blaster looked stunned.

David stared at them carefully now.

"You're serious."

Cyrus nodded once.

"Yes."

Rory looked one second away from fainting.

"WAIT."

He pointed at Jay-Jay dramatically.

"YOU WERE ACTING NORMAL THIS WHOLE TIME?!"

Jay-Jay looked offended.

"I AM normal."

Everyone shouted together:

"NO YOU'RE NOT."

Robin was literally crying laughing now.

Adrian just shook his head quietly.

Then Felix slowly looked at Jay-Jay again.

"…Hold on."

His eyes narrowed.

"You're telling me the scary girl in Section E is also famous?"

Luka proudly answered before anyone else could.

"She was everyone's crush."

Jay-Jay immediately threw a pillow at him.

"TRAITOR."

Too late.

Cin screamed dramatically.

"I KNEW IT."

Rory looked personally devastated.

"THIS IS LIKE A DRAMA."

Blaster frowned at the concert photos.

"…Wait. I think I've seen these people before."

Cyrus sighed.

"Probably."

Robin grinned proudly.

"Our group was huge."

Adrian finally spoke quietly.

"We sang and danced internationally for years."

Cin looked at Jay-Jay with betrayal.

"And you NEVER told us?!"

Jay-Jay crossed her arms stubbornly.

"It wasn't important."

"YOU WERE LITERALLY A GLOBAL CELEBRITY."

"That sounds dramatic."

"It IS dramatic," Yuri replied.

Meanwhile—

I stayed quiet.

Watching another picture carefully.

Jay-Jay on stage.

Spotlights everywhere.

Crowds screaming for her.

And somehow…

she looked completely different there.

Confident.

Untouchable.

Powerful.

Like the entire world belonged to her.

Robin suddenly pointed at one specific magazine cover.

"Oh this one caused chaos."

Cin grabbed it instantly.

Then screamed.

"JAY-JAY WAS THE MOST POPULAR ONE?!"

Luka nodded proudly.

"Everybody loved her."

"That's because she was the face of the group," Cyrus explained calmly.

Robin smirked.

"She also rejected celebrities like every week."

"I was busy."

"With violence," Adrian added softly.

"That too."

Even I almost laughed at that.

Almost.

Then Rory suddenly looked at me dramatically.

"…Bro."

I looked at him.

"You're flirting with an international celebrity mafia princess."

Silence.

Then everyone slowly turned toward me.

Including Jay-Jay.

Annoying.

Very annoying.

Cin whispered dramatically,

"He survived longer than expected."

Jay-Jay immediately grabbed another pillow.

"I'm killing all of you."

But honestly?

Nobody was listening anymore.

Because everything about her suddenly made sense now.

The confidence.

The danger.

The way she carried herself like people naturally followed her.

She wasn't pretending.

She really was built for power.

And somehow—

that only made her more terrifying.

And worse?

More attractive.

Which was definitely becoming a problem.
